Expires: December 7, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. CST

REMEMBER: If you’re a Got Anime member, you can stack your discounts for even more savings! (This means you have the potential to save at least 37% OFF the MSRP on almost everything at RightStuf.com. Check out www.gotanime.com for details.)

*Please note: Bargain Bin, Weekly Special and Closeout items are not eligible for this sale because they’re already awesome deals, and this will be noted on the individual product pages for these items! I saw that Kino's journey, cromartie high, and Chrono crusade had some good prices on them, but $9 killed the deal for me.

But i take it that these prices will remain so, considering that adv has released some holiday special on some of their most popular series (anyone know what these specials actually are?)

About Twelve Kingdoms, what makes the premium collection a premium collection? I'm having a hard time finding pictures to compare. I know the economy versions are just bricks (at least I think I know). Are the premium versions just singles in a normal box, or is it a special box or additional features on the premium?

Thanks.

The premium collections are digipaks. If you've ever seen the 4-Disc special editions of Lord of the Rings, that's what the 12 Kingdoms premium sets are basically like. Otherwise there will be no difference disc wise...

I forgot to answer your question...

Like what sandman007, the sale will end this weekend.

As for the Holiday Editions (for this year), they are Chrono Crusade and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Both releases are in brick collections. ADV Films / Sentai Filmworks pretty much won't do thinpaks anymore due to cost. All extras from both releases will be retained.

Zoomed-in cover art can be found here and here.

What exactly is the difference between these 2 sets?

The $32.99 release is a brick collection. All of the discs are overlapped on this one. This will be a space-saver...

The $49.99 release is a fancier, non conventional chipboard release. It's similar to the Galaxy Railways, Vol.1 artbox and Kodocha, Vol.1 Artbox. It uses the singles (with the keepcases) from the original releases.

FYI, MB will be another re-release later this year. It's scheduled to be released on 12/23/08. It was solicited as "Remastered." However, there has been no indication of what that entails (if anything major).

You would think if Berserk is popular enough to have three separate collection releases then it would be popular enough for them to make a second season. :\ I would love to see a second season for this series!

Anyway, thank you WTK and everyone else for keeping up with the anime deals!

Thanks for the quick response! I, in fact, have those LotR sets, so it was easy for me to go check it out. I'm not a huge fan o those type of boxes, so I'll probably just get the cheaper ones...because they're cheaper.

I've been gettin' killed lately with all of these deals.

WTK, do you have your anime collection online somewhere? I see you saying a lot that you have everything that you'd want from particular sales, so I'd imagine you have a lot.

That would be nice. Would it ever happen after all these years. I guess never say never...
