Whoa- thank god there was something keeping me from picking it up for $24.99 a couple weeks ago. I'm desperately trying to cut down buying DVDs so I can replace my 12 year old 4x3 TV, but for $17.99 I'm gonna have to bite. The list prices on these are $69.99! Already got the first one for under $25 when Wal-Mart had it last year.

Minor update. Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are currently $27.99 at Amazon, but I can't discern if these are LE's or not.

Seasons 2 and 3 are still available for ~$27.50 apiece in the B1G1 sale at FYE ($54.99 each before the discount); 10% less if you have a BackStage Pass membership.

I just got season 3 from Amazon for that price and it was, indeed, the LE.

I never thought I'd be "caught up" on this series, figuring the prices would hold at ~$40. Now to wait for season 4 . . . probably a year out for that to drop.

Just got back from Target. They restocked the SNL season 2 with LE's. The last time the boxes were pretty beat up and I didn't buy one. This time they only had minor bends on the corners (I've seen these same defects at Best Buy). Snagged one for 17.99 (with a raincheck from the last sale.) .. .I think they are still 24.99 regular price, but I didn't check.
