I wish Criterion would snap up some more of Welles' public domain stuff. I need a new copy of The Trial. And if they could wrangle Chimes After Midnight out of its legal troubles, that'd be much appreciated.

I can't recommend enough Elevator to the Gallows (one of my all-time favorite films) & Pickup on South Street (A Richard Widmark great) for $15.99 each, those are two hell of a buys.

The Red Balloon MSRP is $14.95. It's regularly $9.98 at DVD Planet (and that's not even during the 20% sale).

Night & Fog is the same, $14.95 MSRP, regularly $9.95 at DVD Planet.

Ooops, never mind, I don't have nor want either, so I didn't know there regular prices, just seemed like great deals.
