I usually like to pick up and see what I'm buying..but I have been to Best Buy and FYE around town and I can't seem to find any of the Black Lagoon Steelbooks Edition. Did any stores actually get it or I am going to have to order it after all. Who might actually have a great deal on it. Thanks

I saw 2 copies of Black Lagoon Second Barrage steelbooks at a Best Buy in NYC, but the shrinkwrap was pretty torn apart and a few minute scratches as a result of Best Buy's wonderful care for its steelbooks.

Yeah, I saw that @ my local BB. It's not a bad deal for B&M, especially you can get to use the 10% off coupon. So it's just TWEC stores that has the 2-Disc SteelBook without the bonus add-on.

BB will only the stock the 2nd Season (The Second Barrage) in stores. Like most the Geneon/FUNimation re-releases, Season 1 will not be avilable in-stores.

^^

Thanks, WTK. I wanted to order To Heart, but I needed a filler to qualify for free shipping. Along with To Heart, I'll pick up a pair of Dragon Dynasty titles with this code.

I just noticed that as long as the price falls below $16.99 after the Backstage Pass discount is applied, it will qualify for the BOGO discount. This brings into play such titles as the live action Death Note that was just released.

im looking at the fye code- and i have all of My-Hime in my cart. for some reason my total is still $94 bucks, when it should be around $50. Can the price not be above $16.99 before it gets discounted by my BSP?

the 1st two discs are $16.70 but 3-7are 17.99 but w/ BSP they come out to $16.19.

Or did I do something wrong?

also added death note live action, thanks james. still not working though.

^

The coupon will only take the discount off of 1 title in a multiple item order. You have to add the items to your cart, then log-in with your BSP number and then go back to your cart and apply the BOGO coupon. You would have to make several 2 item orders to get the discount off of each title. This is a single use coupon, so you would have to create multiple accounts(different email addresses) to use it each time. Why not just buy the upcoming Anime Legends set for My-HiME? It's cheaper and will take up less shelf space.

Bandai Ent. is also tweaking its packaging as well with the complete collection. It's also worth noting that a 6-Disc (or less) collection may be retrofitted into a standard DVD case (with overlapping discs). I'm not sure about My-HiME, since it's 7-discs.

I hope that FYE hasn't done away with the BOGO promotions that I've come to count on.

Whoops, almost forgot Hellsing was released this week. Hopefully when I go to Suncoast this weekend they'll have copies in stock. They usually do since I saw the volume 3 steelbook around for the longest time. If anything I'll have to resort to going to Best Buy. Don't really want the artbook extra, though.

It is $27.99 at Best Buy with artbook so I am not sure if it may even be cheaper than Suncoast w/out the artbook?

I should have made my FYE order yesterday. They jacked up the price on the live action Death Note and Galaxy Angel A Collection to $19.99, no longer making it eligible for the coupon code.

Did you both of you miss the announcement that FUNimation has signed a deal with Geneon to manufacture, sell, and distribute "select" DVD titles in North America? This includes the previously unreleased Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage, Rozen Maiden - Träumend, etc.
