A few more minor mishaps:


-The Constant Gardener was the Full Frame 1.33:1 version - both disc and sleeve.

-Runaway Jury had the FULLSCREEN sleeve, but the disc was widescreen (thankfully).

-Mother, Jugs & Speed (like Bug) arrived with the blank piece of paper for a cover.


And I've noticed quite a few cases have strings of plastic shreds hanging off them. Apparently when opening them and removing the security stickers, they put just a little too much pressure on the utility knife and take some hunks of the case with them.

only one problem so far (besides the random dirty or scratched discs, all played fine though)....i received the glory special edition dvd with 2 copies of disc 2. so if by chance anyone here receives 2 disc 1's let me know.

I turned it inside out so it has a blank cover now. And it could've been worse, it could've had the Meet the Spartans DVD inside.

The other odd one I received was the single disc The Life Aquatic case with disc one from the two disc edition inside.

My local blockbuster has a 50% off used DVDs sign hanging outside the store. I haven't even felt like going in there since the deals couldn't be nearly as good as the ones with this month's coupon code.

Maybe it'll pop up again by tomorrow morning. I had expected it to last through Sunday. I was running out of titles that I wanted anyway. After a few more days it's not going to be as much fun to check the mailbox anymore.

I only had one order left that I wanted to place (that I know of anyway), but I can't complain. Great sale!

I had one go backordered too. It's a UFC event, so I'm guessing they'll eventually cancel it. Thankfully, the other two on that order were over $10, so I'll still get that discount (I think).

I'm still waiting on about 10 dvds from my second batch of ordering. I got shipping confirmations on some (mainly the two new ones that cost over $5 after shipping), but I still haven't received them. I'm getting worried that my mail man was lazy and left the bundle of blue envelopes on my front step instead of walking the extra 10 feet and putting them in the side screen door and someone probably walked off with them.
Its happened before with things from amazon, but they've always replaced them. I've got my doubts BBV will do much of anything especially when they ask for my account and discover there are about 2 dozen accounts for me.

All of my orders done on the last day the deal was live say "in progress" still.

Probably because it's a holiday weekend.

No. It died on Saturday night.

I got two DVDs in the mail today. My "new" copy of Birdman is actually used. It's been resealed and the part of the case that slides out was put back in upside down.. soo... I also got a new copy of TMNT Vol. 6. This one was actually new.

For $6.45 I'm not complaining, but still.. would have been nice if it was advertised as used instead.
