I hope DVDPlanet matches this sale. I have a ton of quotemachine credit that I could use.

EDIT: Looking through the last few pages of the DVDPlanet thread, it seems mirroring DD sales aren't as common as they used to be.

EDIT #2: Tried the code and it did not work. The title of this promotion on the site is DVD - Bandai Buy 1 Get 1 8-1 so my guess is that it starts tomorrow.

I loved "Cowboy Bebop" and would love to buy the complete series. But being someone who's almost entirely ignorant of anime series I don't know what to get to go along with it. Any recommendations from around that same price range?

The discs are the same, but the cover art and the packaging is different. The original boxset release is much thicker (about 2 inches). This thicker boxset is an older design of alphacases, which is rarely used now. The more recent release is the Anime Legends release. This is also a alphacase (w/flaps), but it's much thinner.
