Actually, I think they were 18.99 for each individual season set. Great deal based on the online prices I've seen. I had never seen the show but based on the great word of mouth in the TV Talk forum, I had been hoping that reruns would be aired on SciFi or something. Since that didn't appear to be happening, I grabbed all 5 seasons. Great stuff so far.
All I saw at my Costco were the S1 through S5 sets.

The 22 episodes comprising B5 season 4, make up the finest dramatic television, which has EVER been seen on air.
I get chills just thinking about it

Yes, I love this series. Just do not expect Battlestar Galactica levels of visual impressiveness. The sets are pretty cheap, the digital effects variable -- though they improved as the series progressed. B5 didn't get the budget that a Star Trek or Galactica series has had. The story arc is integrated into the show extremely well, and there are very few bad episodes. At least for me, it has had good replay value. I've probably watched each season about four times now.
You may someday see a lower price than this, by a few dollars. I suppose it could happen. But this is pretty near rock bottom price.

Season 2 wasn't all that far off. Season 1 was above average for the genre, as was season 5, but neither was up to the level of that amazing mid series arc (seasons 2-4).
And to think I paid over $70 for each season when they came out!

Oh, well - at least I enjoyed the hell out of watching them and reliving the show...

And for those who hate on season 5, I say the final 8 episodes are as strong as anything else on the show

And the finale will bring a healthy percentage of adult men to tears

If anyone happens to be reading this thread and is on the fence. I couldn't recommend any show more than this. I dare say that this is my favorite TV show of all time(!)
If I had a Costco somewhere near me, I would possibly think about buying these just to give to someone. That's how much I believe in this show.

Except the last part to which I must give a hearty, "No comment."

Speaking for myself, once I had seen the series and began rewatching it to see what I missed*, just knowing the ultimate fate of one of the more flamboyant Ambassadors from season one brought me to tears several times.
*There's a LOT of stuff that's right there in front of you but that you don't recognize for what it is until after you know more. JMS called it "holographic" scriptwriting... layers upon layers, some of which you only get the second time around. Suffice it to say, B5 has a lot of replay value.

Best. TV show. Ever.
I'd seen some of it on TV in high school, but as PTEN network collapsed it was difficult to watch...lost track of it when it went to 2am on my local FOX affiliate.
I paid about $80 a season for B5 starting at S2 after watching S1 on DVD via Netflix/greencine and realizing how awesome it was. Worth every penny.
