Re: TARGET -- 2 packs of TV sets -- 19.99

I noticed that all the individual seasons of 24 were back down to $19.99 regular price. I only saw seasons 1-4 on the shelf though.

I'm really tempted to go back and get The Outer Limits tonight. I didn't take notice, but was it the original Outer Limits or the new version of the series?
original. new version (sadly) has not gotten past season 1 on DVD (barring the themed releases)

Picked up MASH for $15. Some good deals. I already have the original Outer Limits and Voyage Under the Sea, otherwise I definitely would have picked them up. I'm on the fence about Buffy.

Wal-Mart also carries Season 6 and 7 for $19.99 each. That means they carry every season of Buffy except 5. Weird.

Thanks for the tip on this. I have only checked one store. When I completed my Futurama collection, they had various seasons at different stores.

Went to get John Adams (out, had to get rain check), but got King of the Hill S1/S2 for $14.99, great deal.

Finally picked up the Addams Family set. I'll probably get American Dad before the sale ends...

Does anybody have a photo they can post of the packaging being used for these 2-packs?

Nothing new, just the two old single releases wrapped side by side.

Shrinkwrapped together and glued to a piece of cardboard. It's that rubbery glue, so it pulls right off with no residue...

The complete season 3 of the New Outer Limits was released in Canada. I paid over $40 for it.

Has anyone seen Brothers & Sisters Season 2 at their Target? If so, is it $19.99? It LOOKS like it was, but couldn't test it since none were in stock. No raincheck either, something about a silver dot. I didn't get it.

Actually, I bought Mary Tyler Moore seasons 1 & 2 and I think it had a sleeve of sorts that the 2 single seasons were in. I immediately discarded it because it would have made the two sets impossible to store on a shelf.

Re: TARGET -- 2 packs of TV sets -- 19.99

I found several new two-packs at Target yesterday:
Simpsons S1 and S2 - labeled $26.99
Addams Family v3 and Green Acres S2 - $19.99 (scanned this one, not on sale this week like the ones listed above)
Angel S3 and S4 - didn't check the price

There might have been one or two more. They had a big black sticker in the center saying "Limited Time" or something like that...

Hm...does anyone know the price on the Angel S3 and S4 two-pack? Would it be safe to assume that it is $26.99 ($29.99?) like the S1 and S2 two-pack initially was?

The silver dot means they're aware they're out of stock of that item and have put in a request for more. Generally then like 3 days after they do the dot they have it back.

Did they refuse you a raincheck? If so, that seems insanely weird. Even when there aren't the raincheck pads, it's easy enough to make a raincheck.

The Angel S1 & S2 at my nearest Target was definitely $29.99. I would have bought it but I figure I can wait for a Gold Box deal at Amazon for the entire series and get each season cheaper.
