Weird. WHV puts out a pending charge for Smallvile 7 and Pushing Daisies 2 days ago. I check MyExpress and it shows Sarah Connor shipped

Cronikeys 08-15-08 12:36 PM

I got Sarah Connor today and it said it shipped yesterday. I ordered it on Monday morning. MyExpress gives a shipment tracking number and UPS's website does a good job of telling you where it's at. Pushing Daisies and Chuck still show "In Process." None of the charges (including Terminator: SCC strangely) have showed up on my VISA yet.

I'm really impressed by WB preorders so far though. I'm definitely taking advantage of this deal again next year if it's available.

I got the same email. Apparently the release has been pushed to Fall 2009!

And what just showed up 2 minutes ago from Doug Heffernan (UPS Guy). A box from Tennessee via UPS next day air saver that is about 20 x 8 x 5. with Sarah Connor sliding up and down in it. I'd never hire these guys to work in my mail room. I'd go broke in a month, but they don't so good for me.

It went MIA from the site a couple of weeks ago. About the same time DD changed the listing to OOP and amazon removed the release date and took down the pre-order ability. Makes me wonder if Time-Life cried "foul" because the prices listed were ~$100 less than they are selling it for.

Where the hell do you check your status?

I didn't know Amazon did that. I checked there when I first noticed I couldn't find it anymore at WHV and it still had a date. I think it was still available for pre-order too. Hmmm...

WARNING: I just opened my DVD for Terminator: SCC and it had disc 3 of "The Closer" instead of Terminator: SCC disc 1. So, I went to the site and it said to fill out the return form on the back of the packaging slip. I found the packaging slip and turned it over to find a blank backside. I looked at the frontside and noticed it wasn't my information. I live in Indiana and it was for someone who lives in Georgia with a completely different order ("Recount" DVD). I'm going to call them tomorrow morning, but so far I am NOT impressed. If I do ever get my money back, it's definitely worth the $5 or so extra to just buy it at Best Buy or Target.

Now I'm really nervous about my Chuck and Pushing Daisies.

Mine's ok but I got the BD version. Which did you order?

I ordered the standard DVD. I called the customer service number they provided today and they said I could return it at their expense for a full refund or a replacement. I went the replacement route because I want this DVD, so let's hope the next set contains the right discs!

gjamesm 08-18-08 08:10 PM

Chuck: The Complete First Season

I wonder if you got it from this thread. Several numbers for Warners Cust Svc are listed there.

Thanks

I just called the number on my packing slip for Terminator series--1-800-364-6928--to cancel my Chuck Preoder (since they announed Blu version after I ordered the DVD).

I tried your code but it does not work for me. The 25% off code works though.

You have to buy a minimum two items for the coupon to be activated.

Great. Now just bring back The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and I'll be all set.
