I will be receiving all three discs of "Pushing Daisies" via Netflix tomorrow. I want to take a look and see if it's a title worth buying. The review says that the picture is beautiful and one that you'd want to use to show off your HDTV to guests.

I'm also a bit intrugued by The Polar Express BD in 3D. I didn't care much for movie, but Blu-ray in 3D seems like it'd be pretty cool. I've been reading up on it online and many people tend to believe that it will come with those red/blue 3D glasses, which wouldn't be all that great, but I'd still like to give it a shot. Is anyone planning on buying that title?

Anyone else still waiting for their orders of Chuck and Pushing Daisies to ship? I ordered those along with the New Adventures of Old Christine, and they're still "In Process" even though the two were released yesterday and the other one has been out for months. Is WHV always slow to ship or is it just me?

Yep, ordered PD BD on Thursday, still In Process. I checked about a half hour ago.

And Warner has been REALLY good about shipping lately. On or right before release date for preorders. At least for me.

I pre-ordered my copy of Pushing Daisies on BD a while back for like $22 (Along with Beetlejuice and Dark City, all 3 were Pre-orders). It arrived today (Wednesday), 1 day after store date. I have no real complaints.

Oddly, Dark City arrived via Next Day air, PD standard.

I have to commend Warner for the new shipping system they use. Based upon the earlier complaints I've read about them this seems to be a 180 degree turnaround. How they can afford next day air is beyond me but hey, I won't complain. The email part is strange seeing as how they put the UPS tracking number on the order page but who cares, the tracking number is great

i think the op needs to rename this thread the "pushing daisies pre-order discussion"

i received the last item of my order today, minus "in treatment" which was canceled. i found warner very reliable and great shipping, even if the shipping emails didn't come until the day of arrival. i'd be placing another order if the shipping were cheaper or they lowered the free shipping down to $25 like amazon.

I'm experiencing the slow shipping as well. I recevied a confirmation for L.A. Confidential yesterday and it had a status update for the rest of my order. Still "in process" but now they all list a estimated street date of 9/29 (including PD which came out yesterday and other titles that were already out) I have no idea what that means, estimated next shipping date, maybe?

My order shows Pushing Daisies as being In Process, but i just got my shipment of Chuck today and to my surprise it had the Blu-Ray Pushing Daisies in it... which would be great if I had a Blu-Ray player...

The Daisies disc picture quality is fabulous.....You won't be disappointed. Don't forget, ABC transmits in 720p and these discs are 1080, so if you like it on TV you'll love it on disc

As is par for course for WHV, I received my shipping notice the day AFTER the item arrived.

Yeah, got a shipping confirmation last night about LA Confidential which arrived yesterday afternoon, almost a week before street. Speed Racer arrived on it's release date. It's such a love/hate thing with WHV! But it's hard to beat their prices with the discounts on top of the discounted prices. . .

Yeah, the free shipping + super low prices + potential to break street = worth the mild disappointment of the occasional late arrival and lack of detailed shipping info.

It's is cool that sometimes you get movies before street date. But who is going to punish them for breaking their own date?

Also nice to see that the 30% code (ANWBTS) is still working. Just placed a couple of orders for the far away, but ever-near, holidays. Ulimtate Christmas Story BD for $28 and SD for $21, Ultimate Casablanca BD for $35, JFK and Shawshank Redemption BDs for $19 each, New World Extended Cut SD for $10.50. Even with tax, still $4-$8 cheaper than amazon. And amazon's shipping hasn't been the greatest lately.

Nice. . .

How long does it take Warner to ship after you order from them? I ordered some titles early last week, but it is showing as pending. These are NOT pre-order titles so I would have thought they would ship out faster.

Same here. Well they were pre-order, but released on Tuesday. But still nothing at all shipped from WHV. I wish I would've known what crap service they provide. It seemed like people here were getting stuff early though, not late!

Is there any way to cancel an order?

Apparently my copies of Chuck and Old Christine were shipped out Next Day Air yesterday. Should be getting them soon, finally! Pushing Daisies is still "In Process" though.

My Pushing Daisies BD didn't ship on release day, so I won't be receiving it until next week. But I just checked, and they've already shipped my Sex and the City BD, so hopefully I'll get that by next Tuesday. It's hit or miss, but mostly hit due to prices and the ability to track via UPS.

I hope the WB gets around to announcing The Dark Knight DVD and Blu-ray releases, maybe in the next week or so? Hopefully the 30% coupon will still be valid when WHV starts taking pre-orders for that, as the pre-order price would be excellent compared to other stores.

And I'm certainly not complaining about WHV using next-day shipping for their free shipping. It's a great incentive for more online "traffic", so to speak.
