I found a copy of the 2-disc Superbit version of Charlie's Angels for $2 today. I saw that title on the master list in this thread but I hadn't seen any copies at my local Big Lots store. (I went through the entire display and it was the only copy that I saw.)

And the original The Pink Panther has also been spotted, but it's the older release.

Alright, i will hunt down A Shot in the Dark (i assume it doesn't have the words "Pink Panther" in the title).
I didn't see the original at my Big Lots at all.
And thanks for letting me know!

If yours has the older release the cover looks like this:

with, "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" being the older one in the units:

What follows is a comment only... this has *not* been seen at BL!
It's a shame the third and only non MGM title, "Return of the Pink Panther", is not at BL. I have the older edition and would jump at the chance for a $3 upgrade.

Quick speculative note: I visited my Half Price Books location this morning and they are now stocking some HBO titles. Multi-disc television titles ("Cracker Series One", "Mind of the Married Man", "Lucky Louie") were $14.98 and movies were, I think, $9.98. I did see two HBO TV titles which have not shown up at BL stores yet: "Cracker Series Two" and "Unscripted", starring Krista Allen and produced by George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh. So perhaps there are more HBO titles coming.

I'm visiting family in Minnesota right now, and decided to stop at the Big Lots in St. Louis Park. They had two of the MGM displays, one big and one small. It looked like they had been picked over a bit, but they had multiple copies of a lot of the titles I was able to pick up last week in Oklahoma (like "Scanners", "Bound for Glory", "Gates of Heaven", "Hope and Glory", etc.) but I also found a few more I hadn't seen:
The Brood
Duel in the Sun
The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane
Solty Rei, Vol. 1
I had never heard of the last title, but decided it was worth a blind buy at $3.00. They didn't have any other volumes, but they did have some volumes of "Full Metal Alchemist" and a few anime I can't remember.
I'm going to stop by the Brooklyn Center and Coon Rapids store in the next day or two to see if I can't find some of the Woody Allen titles, and "The Thin Blue Line" (since I got the other two Morris films from the boxset.)

Dang... Wish I had known about the 20% off coupon sooner. The MGM titles finally showed up at my Big Lots today and I already purchased a ton of them and they have already been opened.
I got the following:
To Live and Die in L.A.
Pieces of April
Shadows and Fog
Y Tu Mama Tambien (R Rated Version)
Swamp Thing
The Brood
Scanners
Auto Focus
The Fog
The Woman in Red
The Sure Thing
Hotel
Bright Lights, Big City (Full Frame unfortunately... and I've already opened it)
Bad Influence
And, last but not least... Bubba Ho-Tep!
Awesome finds. Pretty good deals too.

Even with the 20% coupon coming up(thanks, Chad!), I decided to hit a few Big Lots and look over the DVD's with plenty of elbow room on a weekday. Here is what I got today-
These first few had older Big Lots stickers on them and may not have anything to do with new stock at the stores-
Moulin Rouge(1952) and a two-pack priced at $4.00 total for "To Brave Alaska(Alyssa Milano) and the other being "Snow Bound" with Neil Patrick Harris.
Here are the rest that seemed to be from the recent stocking of $3.00 titles-
The Ghoul
Duel in the Sun
Burnt Offerings(1976 with Dan curtis/Karen Black)
Extremities(1986 with Farah Fawcett)
Sinbad and the Seven Seas(Lou Ferrigno baby! )
For Sunday, I may go back and pick up "Foxy Brown" and the other Pink Panther movies that didn't have Peter Sellers in them. Or maybe not...I'm sooo backlogged in DVD stuff to watch.

At $10 each, a number of them aren't huge deals. IGPX (which comes in a "puff pack" with a T-shirt) can be had new for $8+shipping on Amazon Marketplace. Galaxy Angel starts around $16+ new. The two Scrapped Princess sets (which contain Vol. 1 or Vol. 6) and Angel Tales fetch around $25+ new, which make them worthwhile if you're looking to flip them for a profit.

.hack//sign is the limited edition of Volume 6 (slipcover only), with a couple of bonus episodes, new on Amazon for $8+. Yukikaze is the limited edition of Volume 1 (no box or slipcover), which isn't much different from the regular version that costs $3. It includes a patch (iron-on?) and a second disc with DTS audio versions of the two episodes.
As for the "complete" sets, DICE isn't exactly...there are two, "Season 1 Complete Collection" and "Season 2 Complete Collection." Kaze No Yojimbo contains the complete series in one set, and so does Argentosoma. The latter two are the best bargains, in my opinion, and those are the only two I picked up.

The Coon Rapids store had almost nothing. Just one bin with some of the older Sony titles (though I did finally find some copies of the "Sweet and Lowdown" flipper.) I didn't see a single DVD from the recent HBO or MGM shipments.
The Brooklyn Center store, on the other hand, had two of the small MGM towers and one of the large ones, plus two bins with a mix of Sony and MGM titles. They had a pretty good selection, even if it looked a bit picked over. They did not, however, have any of the titles mentioned in post #276. If there was anything you were specifically looking for, I might be able to remember whether or not I saw it (though I'm not making any promises.)
