Also, as a longer-term solution, anyone have ideas about why I went from consistently getting 9 coupons emailed to me (under 9 email addresses), to suddenly only getting 1 consistently? Did B&N close some sort of loop? |

Yea I went thru the same thing. last October the coupons stopped coming in the emails. The only thing that worked in getting a coupon was to get a new email address that had never been used at BN and then go thru the BN email "Be in the Know" signup on their main web page. Thanks to a senior member who posted a reply to my question on this problem
I got a coupon a few days ago, first since Oct2013. Give it a try it might work. |

With all the 15% coupons now expired, apparently B&N has decided their new promotion will be 10% off. I've always viewed 10% off as pretty much a joke (15% is bad enough, 10% is a slap in the face with B&N prices). Can't wait until this current promotion has gone away, I hope this isn't the new trend with B&N, I wish I'd opted to make a purchase while the 15% coupons were still in effect. Any ideas whether B&N will ever again do 20% off for non-members?

I found this site when I was looking for info on BN coupons. Thanks for all the info about coupons. I had two e-mail accounts that suddenly stopped getting them last year. One was my account, and another was an account I used for Nook development stuff. I just created two new Yahoo accounts, and tried signing them up, but nothing so far. I am a member, and am a little peeved that I don't get coupons when they're supposed to be a benefit of membership. I'm starting to wonder if membership is worth $25/year, since the BN.com site has the same book prices for members and non-members, and free shipping for anyone on orders over $25. I get 10% off in the store, but online prices are significantly cheaper. BTW the shelves in my BN store are getting bare. Since 2009, they've been reducing store inventory, but recently they've been emptying the shelves. They have a fraction of the inventory. Are all the stores like this? |
