Used the generic 30 percent off mastercard coupon and it worked but cashier wrote the number down. So it looks like they're keeping track of the codes.

The coupon number? You can technically use the coupon over and over unless you run across an employee that may recognize you and try to limit its use. The generic coupon uses the same numbered code for everyone.

Although I'm unable to do this myself (can't get to a store for a week) I just wanted to mention that the upcoming Mystery Science Theater 3000 25th Anniversary box is presently $5 cheaper than Amazon. I don't think online coupons work on pre-orders - due on the 26th - but if you have a store person place the order for you, print it out and take it to pay, you MIGHT be able to use a coupon for even greater savings... (you might not, of course, but that's how it goes...)

I started off slow with the coupon today. Only used 5 in-store, and 3 online so far... ;)
I have 3-4 things left that I need to get. After tomorrow, I may be done. Unless I think of more Criterions to buy...

For some reason the online codes don't seem to be working. I have my mastercard selected as payment yet no matter what code I try, it says it's not eligible, (i'm buying a book). Any ideas?

No matter what coupon code I used (i received a few via email), it gives me this same error. "Your order does not qualify for coupon 5DL25J. You may remove it or replace it with another coupon"

Is it a pre-order? You can't use the coupon online on pre-orders. I bought 3 books online with the coupon last night without issue...

FYI, the 50% off British sale starts December 10. I know because I asked to do a Ship to Home on "Day of the Doctor", which comes out December 10. The cashier told me not to, because the British sale starts that day, and it will be cheaper. However to guarantee I got one, he still ordered it for me, but as a Store order. So I didn't pay anything, and it will be held for me the day it comes out. He then showed me a stack of 15-20 titles that he is already holding for someone else, until the British sale. Seriously!

So the system does not remember which member number used which coupon code during the coupon period? So can the same coupon code be used multiple times each day/several days as long as the cashier does not recognize the buyer?
