FYI, I just read about the apparent coupon glitch, but I was NOT able to use M9T8K7U twice in my account :(

Are the in-store $5-off coupons for BN members only?

Ooooh, didn't notice that VISA coupon. Picked up Last Year at Marienbad with that. Free shipping under $25 is nice.

I see a PICK ME UP option at B&N now. Order online and pick up at your local store within 60 minutes. That will be an awesome option for those items that don't qualify for free shipping, since now we can get cashback instead of being forced to use one of the free shipping links...

Are any of my fellow BN watchers hip to why the 50% off TV Box Sale doesn't seem to have any items at 50% off list? ;)

I'm not sure why your link doesn't work, but mine does. Use this one. These are all 50% off:
http://video.barnesandnoble.com/sear...linkid=1433506

Also, my link has 126 titles. Yours only has 90. Very strange...

Unfortunately this is pretty useless since it doesn't let you pay for the item online (almost everything in-store is more expensive than online).

Thanks kenbenobi. Must be a bug on their end.

Re: Barnes And Noble Coupon Thread Part 2

I don't think it's a bug, it's just how the feature works. All it lets you do is tell the store to hold the item for you, and you pay for it when you get there.

That sucks. I didn't actually try it. I just assumed it was like Walmart's Ship To Store. I probably won't be using that feature then. Well, maybe at some point. It could have come in handy during the Criterion sale, so that a certain title doesn't sell out before you get to the store...

Hehe. Two topics are getting intermixed. The bug he was referring to was the link to the 50% off sale...

Do any of the coupons ever work for/on "text books"?

I seen a book that I wanted to get called "Men, Women, and Chainsaws" and the book is classified as a "textbook".

Interesting book, I had to read it when I was at University. I think some of the ideas are a bit far fetched, but an interesting read.

Doesn't appear any of the current coupons are eligible for textbooks but you could try the stackable $5 off coupon if you are a B&N member since there was a post earlier in the year claiming one of them worked. Since I already redeemed the current coupon I can't verify it, but the fine print says textbooks are not eligible. I did locate the post here that mentioned it.

I don't think it's been posted yet, but the NSCS and Working Advantage links are both 10% off for August. But you have to spend over $25 to get free shipping with those links... Still, it's more savings for those that aren't a B&N member or AAA member...

Thanks I added that information about the 10% discount to the first page.

I did get some good news on the textbook. Even though a coupon wouldn't work-there is a promotion going on where you get the expidited fast shipping free on textbooks (even if under the $25 mark that they usually set). So my frown was turned upside down.

Bing Cashback is 20%. It is "for a limited time."

Yeah, but they'll decline your order for using a coupon. I'm scared to use bing anymore with B&N based on what others have stated...

I'm also having the same problem with fatwallet and ********. Since the Criterion sale I have not been able to get cashback rebates on any orders.

Is this something they've just started doing? I've never had a problem receiving cashback from B&N purchases I've made using a coupon.

I did not get 10% CB from Bing on my Criterion order. I had to contact customer service and I'm still waiting on the result.

"Decline your order," meaning that they all-out cancel it, or you just don't get the cashback? I'm trying to use B&N for the first time, and their membership for the first time (saw a 20% coupon code for new membership users in the original post), as well as BING for the first time. I'm already nervous about doing any of these things wrong because it is for the Beatles Mono Box Set pre-order, so I definitely don't want any sort of mistake or fine-print exception to completely cancel my order of a limited item.
