Assume that all of these are available to all customers unless specifically listed as member only.
Mini FAQ
Coupons should not work for PREORDERS , Criterions, Nook, Legos, Rosetta Stone, Digital, Gift Cards, Memberships, etc.
Free Shipping is $25 (before tax/shipping) or with membership.
Online only a single code can be applied to an order
Return period is 14 days after delivery though possibly it's 30 days now for most people though there is a discrepancy b/w the receipt and website.
Online ordered items can returned to a local store unless it's classified as a web-only item then it's at the store's discretion to accept
Single Item 15% OFF, but should be reusable in different transaction and if the Clerks will scan it more than once.

Expiration 12/31/2020 and despite the coupon language is only good for In-store coupon Eligible items.
The long standing Free 60 day Trial Offer was discontinued in late May 2016
"New Member" Welcome Coupons appear to be discontinued at least for now

Go to your local store and order with Ship to Home. It is technically YMMV, since it is buried in the fine print saying no Ship to Home. But I have done it many times and have NEVER been turned down. I ordered the Planet of the Apes Blu-Ray set for $37.79+tax this morning, and will get another 5% instant cash back from my B&N MC.

Thanks to Laser and all who contribute to this thread.
My membership expires in a couple hours, so I used a bunch of coupons today, and used up all of my gift cards and store credit that I've been saving for years for some reason.
Got in on the 40% off on the Charmed and Borzage/Murnau sets.

The Visa link is already giving 10% off, despite what the first webpage says. And the 40% off coupon is still working, so I'm placing a few more non-member orders right now.

Rats. Thought I was getting a good deal by ordering the Apes blu-box with a 15% off code but now I see I could have saved over $10 more by going through a AAA link and using a 20% off code with my MasterCard.
Even worse, just called B&N and the rep tells me the order can't be cancelled, the price can't be adjusted, and if I want to return the original box for a refund I have to ship it back to them at my own expense. Nice.

Oh 40% off coupon, how I miss thee. Let me count the ways... I placed 9 orders, so I definitely took advantage... Now I need to debate whether to cancel my membership and get my $25 back, or stick with it, hoping for more deals like this...

Best steps to take (in my very limited experience).
- Go to the non-register customer service desk in the center of the store and ask to make a ship-to-store (or home) order of the item you want.
- They take some limited info, place the order, and give you a print-out.
- Then take it to the front register and give them the print-out and your coupon. The front register is perhaps better than the media registers, since they might be less likely to know it is a DVD and excluded.
- Walk away feeling slightly guilty.

Yeah, but that was technically only for books and you had to use a Mastercard (which I don't own). So it was worthless for me. I'm really surprised we haven't had even one 40% or 50% off one item coupon. Seems like they've done that before. Heck, they've even dried up on 20% Off coupons, which were common back in the summer and fall. Now all we have are the 15% off coupons.

i am still, though admittedly undeservingly, patient. looking forward to the day where a bunch of box sets are 30%+ discounted along with a 40% off coupon. and the masses will say hurrah!

Lots of holiday angst and crushed expectations here -- I too bought the Ford at Fox through BN last year.
However, with cashback and the occasional 20% (or even 15%) coupon, I think there are still some good deals to be had. I hope the thread stays updated, and appreciate all of the work that goes into it.

I was checking for new coupons today and found some new 25% codes. Here's one I ran across. I'm in the process of updating the list and will get the rest of them on the first page.
Edit: I hope there is an error on the expiration dates. If not the coupons are valid only from December 17 to December 18. I can't believe that is correct.

From what I can tell it appears the expiration dates are correct. I found another link with information about one of the coupons and it says expires December 18. They are already working when I checked, so use them before they expire in a few days.

What did you get? I'm looking for suggestions. I see Lost S4 is at 30% off right now, but I want the BD version...

I noticed on one of the coupon links the date was changed from December 15 to December 18.
