I'm definitely gonna pick up the Josh Groban CD; big fan, but the CD/DVD Combos of his are always too expensive, plus that one comes with two bonus tracks, so I've been waiting for a decent deal. Do you have any more information on "Speed Racer’s Wonderful World Of Racing," because I've never heard of that before. |
Also interested in that SR exclusive dvd. I looked on target's site and I didn't see it listed.
I caught a sneak peek of the SR; Next Generation on Nick this afternoon. Not to bad and nice touches including Speed from the original cartoon throughout the episode. Animation is a little weird at first, but got used to it. Didn't see the Mach car cause all Speed drove was some clunky race car. So I might pick up the new version cartoon too. |

Thanks Speedy. Doesn't look like anybody's gonna have the Twister 2 disc SE in their ad so I'll stick with DeepDiscount where I preordered it for $15.30.

Here's the cover of the Target exclusive Speed Racer dvd. Site says it'll be available beginning on Tuesday May 6th.

Picked up a copy of the Speed Racer exclusive this morning.
It runs 31 minutes and has the cast of the movie in a "mockumentary" about the Racer family. The actors are in character for the mockumentary. Also "interviewed" are the villains of the film. Many clips of the film are shown too. The "mockumentary" actually runs about 21 minutes and after that is another featurette called Speed Racer: Ramping Up! The disc has no menu at all. Yes it does contain a "Movie Money" ticket. I must have gotten lucky because mine came with 3 of them. |
