All five seasons of Alias are available at my local Costco(Milford, CT) for just $12.99 each. These are in a new, slimmer case that the studios are now favoring.

Now I can FINALLY get the last (and best) season I need for my Alias collection, S2 w/Lena Olin as Sydney's bad mama. I found S1 used for $4 at Blockbuster and had already gotten S3-5 for free thru work, so this is the capper.

No sign of Screwball or Michael Powell here (but please let it be soon, because that's an incredible price.)

But the Buena Vista assortment was out, both Muppet Show and Golden Girls.

None here either, nor have I seen the $18.99 Sony boxes show up (Cary Grant, Frank Capra, Budd Boetticher). Went to two Costcos with high hopes, but no dice.

^

No sign of the Screwball Comedies or Michael Powell at the St Peters, Mo store yesterday. They did still have the Sony Jack Lemmon box at $35. They also had copies of the Stanley Kubrick Collection (the one everybody is searching Big Lots for) for $35.

EDIT: Found them all at South County today. 8/7/09

Has anyone else seen these? If so, in what areas of the country? Would love to grab one of each of these!

Given that the Screwball sets were officially released Tuesday, and I saw them on the floor on Monday, I suspect my store put them out a little early. They should show up at most locations within a few days. Keep watching for them.

Eureka, CA has the Boetticher, Capra, and Screwball sets. I've not seen the Powell or Grant sets (but since I have the Grant set, I might have overlooked it.)

Picked up the Muppet sets - thanks!

Was only going to get S2 but noticed one of the S1 sets was one of the rare "felt" sleeve / covers, so I bought it too.

Haven't seen those at retail since the week they came out.
