Those deals are even greater with this coupon that just showed up in the mail:

I believe that some of those titles have recently been mentioned on the newly out-of-print thread, so this may be somewhat of a final clearance.

The Looney Tunes sets. Those are the good ones to get correct?

I wish they would have brought out the rest of the jetsons. Only one season so far. Years have passed, doubt we will see more.

The Looney Tunes Golden Collection are the sets that you want. $18.99 after coupon is a steal.

Ah, maybe I was mistaken and it was $40 with 3 bobbleheads, but I only remember seeing 2.

I'm pretty sure that the LT sets are $23.99, so it would be $18.99(still a great deal).

Nope. I just wish I could join you.

Are the coupons something you have to sign up for? I have had a Costco membership with them for over 5 years, buy tons of stuff, am currently an executive member, have a Costco American Express card, and still never get these coupons in the mail that others get. What gives???

I was actually going to buy a bunch of the HB sets and now I want to even more but I hesitate because I want that damn coupon.

Just walk over to the Membership Services/Returns area. They usually have a stack of coupons right out in the open.

Does anyone know if I bought the LT sets at $23.99, and went back with the coupon on sale date, they would be willing to either adjust or allow a return/re-buy? I don't live close to one and I would be stopping by there on Monday for a pre-planned trip...I don't want to lose out and have them all sell out before I can make it back within the sale period. Thanks!

I would guess that they would do an adjust, they have always been helpful in similar things.

But even if not, they can't stop you from doing a return/rebuy.

They will definitely give you a refund(I've done this numerous times in the past). Costco's reputation is built on stellar customer service.

The Jetsons ran for just a single season in the '60s, so if you have the one set that's out, you have all the original episodes. Same with Jonny Quest. Unless I misunderstand and you're looking for syndicated, 1980s versions of those shows, that is.

Hanna-Barberra titles (Scooby, Top Cat, etc) are currently $18.99 - so $13.99 after coupon.

Costco I went to earlier had a good selection of the Looney Tunes (9+ of each). But the Hanna-Barberra titles only looked to have 4-6 of each (if that many).

I've never had any problem returning at Costco. I just bought 2 complete sets of the LT before I saw the coupon, naturally. I'll go early and see if someone is willing to just walk them from the return desk over to the register so I can just repurchase them with the coupon. BTW, they did have the coupons at the membership counter when I was there yesterday.

Seems that Costco has not expanded its DVD section as it usually does in the fourth quarter.Usually its done when they put out the Christmas and CD box sets that they get for the holidays. Well they are out but the DVD section is still small.

Is there anyway someone can post a scan of the back of this coupon with the UPC? My Costco didn't have any of the coupons and they said they would maybe accept the coupon if I had a scan of it with a working UPC. Thanks!

If anyone is going to Costco on Tuesday, can you check and see if How I Met Your Season 3 and The Simpsons Season 11 are available and how much they are? I won't be able to make it to Costco until Thursday to get the Looney Tunes sets and want to know if I need to stop somewhere else to get HIMYM and Simpsons.

One of my Costcos recently added more space and put in huge 4-sided dump full DVDs -- as they did last year. The other doesn't generally expand the section during the holidays -- they simply stack stuff higher.

Thanks. Will you kindly post your experience on with repurchasing them when you go?

I went today and asked, and the returns staff member that I spoke to said I would not be able to. I even explained that I would not be able to go there on Thursday and was afraid to miss out w/them selling out, which was why I bought it now. He said that I would have to return and then go to the DVD section to hunt for a new set. I cannot believe they would just rather me return a $300+ purchase, especially after I also dropped another $500+ other items too. I would be a bit upset since I would still be spending money at the store. Seriously would they rather lose my purchase than rather let me save a measly $5 off each item? I did not buy multiple sets for resell. I just bought one copy of each of the DVDs available. I know my purchases are probably next to nil compared to other members, but still...money is money in this bad economic state. I will probably go to a different store to see what the service desk says there.
