Buffy The Vampire Slayer: The Chosen Collection $99.99 at AMAZON

It has been $98.99 but that was almost a year ago and it was for 1 DAY only.

Also incase you missed the $55.99 deal a few weeks ago, Angel Complete Series Collector's Set is on sale again for $69.99.

Wow, I'm surprised how little response this post has had. I'm on the fence. Buffy The Chosen Collection was DOD on Amazon before xmas last year at 94.99 so I think it may either (a) be offered again at 89.99 or less as DOD, or (b) not get this low again and eventually go OOP for good (at least as a SD release). Any thoughts?

Is $4 or $9 worth the worry and all the extra waiting / looking around for a better deal?

I'd bite if it came out to ~$10 a season. $15 per season is a little too much.

Nope. It's the pure pleasure of lurking around and trying to guess when the price is as low as it will ever get.

Good lord we are spoiled. If I didn't already own this I would buy it in a heartbeat. $100 for seven seasons of awesome television in a cool box?? Come on!

Damn I want this pretty bad but my girlfriend would kill me. I just spent 900 yesterday on a new Laz-E-Boy. Trying to think of a friends house I can get this sent to or something so I can act like I buy it a few weeks later.

No, it was released at an MSRP of $200 in 2005 and many of us bought it for $111.89 in November 2005 during the DDD 20% off sale. It then went OOP for awhile.

It was a bargain then, it is an even better bargain now at $100.

The only reason I could see for passing this up — assuming that one likes Buffy and doesn't already have the season sets — is that it will likely be released on BD in the next year or two. However, expect the BDs to be REALLY expensive for a few years...

You, sir, are exactly right!
Still, this thread drifted down to the bottom of the second page with only one reply. Either everyone here who wants one has one, or else they're buying without comment. Usually a deal like this has everyone yelling yippee, so I wondered if anyone was lying in the weeds waiting for the price to drop some more.
BTW, I ordered mine 3/13, the day before my post. Mama hilts didn't raise any fools.
