So, what do you do with all that extra non-DVD stuff? Do you wear them? Put them on your dog? What?

The only "box kit" I've ever bought was the Lord Of The Rings (Fellowship) box that came with bookends... because I knew I would use them as BOOKENDS to hold up the rest of my LOTR disks once I collected them all, which I did, and they are.

Oh, I also bought the Potter HD-DVD set, but only because it was cheaper to buy all 5 movies from Barnes & Noble on pre-order with 50% off PLUS 10% membership discount for net of ~$50 rather than spend $17-20 apiece times 5. I repackaged the HD-DVDs into their own cases, gave the box to my son, gave the bookmarks to my wife, and threw away all the extra doo-dads.

They also have the John Cena: My Life, Rey Mysterio: Biggest Little Man and Shawn Michaels: Heartbreak and Triumph Ultimate Fan Packs for $12.99 in store. This comes with, in addition to the DVDs (where the cheapest I've seen just the DVDs before this is $20 each) :

- John Cena: shirt (size XL for all shirts), dog tags, wristbands
- Shawn Michaels: shirt, tumbler cup, pendant
- Rey Mysterio: shirt, pendant, armbands

Plus it comes in a pretty cool packaging.

They had it on the regular site Monday night, but it sold out fast.

Mine had Harry Potter but was not marked down. It did scan at 12.99 though marked at 22.99. I asked an employee to check the price and she said "Wow, take it and run."

I wonder what the odds are of many best buy locations having them marked down in the system, yet haven't noticed or put them on a clearance rack or even marked them down? Either way, I'll be hitting up one this weekend.

Harry Potter was still marked at 22.99 but rang up at 12.99. The actual clearance rack was full of Shrek and all the WWE stuff at the Ontario, California store. I'll check out another store as i'm looking for a Transformers set.

It's still YMMV. I saw Pirates, Seinfeld, Little Mermaid, Shrek, and Harry Potter and only Little Mermaid, Shrek and Harry Potter were on sale and marked as such on the shelf, not on the sticker.

Picked up HP and I did bring Pirates and Seinfeld up to the register to check. Almost offered to put those two back, Seinfeld was really heavy and I was holding it for awhile looking around for 300 and V...almost offered....

This is at the Jacksonville Southside location still plenty of shrek, little mermaid and HP.

Kicking myself now. Ordered Mermaid through Disney movie club to help fulfill my membership because I couldn't find it cheap anywhere. And now this.

Oh well I'll go back and try to find V and 300 and just trade in the old editions.
