Some of mine have been from November and I still got refunds. I always mention I am a Prime Member...so maybe that helps?

This sale made me break my rule of not upgrading DVDs I already have in SD. Picked up four movies and used the $5 off code, which makes them about $13.70 each.

Forgot all about that! I got 4 of these movies last month:

Children of Men
Fearless
Knocked Up
Hot Fuzz

So I should be due $32 in refunds, which would bring my original purchase price on these down to $23.90 .

Actually I figured it wrong, since I only paid $44.72 originally thanks to my 10% off. My god what a deal that would be.

I wrote in about 5 o'clock this morning and already got my $16 for CoM and Knocked Up from the B1G1 sale. Cost per movie... $3.50!

As soon as my $32 refund is approved, I'm going to cycle most of it right back into Amazon .

Amazon never gives an end date for sales. They usually say "while supplies last". I wouldn't wait too long. They will start pulling some titles from the list and then the whole sale will go poof.

Anyone else having trouble getting a price adjustment with the B1G1 sale? I just received this and I'm not sure if it's worth another try:

I'm sorry, but I can't accommodate your request to honor this lower price for Hot Fuzz (Combo HD DVD and Standard DVD) and Knocked Up (Combo HD DVD and Standard DVD).

I have checked your order#XXXXXXX and see that on this order “Buy one get one free” promotion was already applied.

As stated on our website, we cannot honor price changes for orders that are affected by a promotion.

I got the $16 back for Children of Men/Fearless combo and that order was over 30 days ago. Fire off another refund inquiry email. You'll most likely get it on the second attempt.

Basically, you were unfortunate to get a CS rep that actually knows what they are doing. But many of them apparently don't, so it may be worth a try to give it another shot.

This is a pretty big loophole that I'm surprised they haven't fixed yet. Like I bought a usually $199 appliance from Amazon for $149 in a Gold Box deal. It shows up in the order history as $199 less a $50 "promotional certificate". They then reduced the price for 1 day a week or so ago to $129. So I asked for a price adjustment, and they refunded me $70 ($199 to $129). So I got a regularly $199 item for $79. I'm not complaining, but you'd think they'd catch onto this more than they have.

I sent 6 e-mails totaling $45 in refunds and ended up getting 1 e-mail saying they were all going through. It has been 35 days since I placed the orders.

Click on the "Help" link at amazon.com.
Click on "Refunds" under "Returns & Replacements" on the left hand side of the page.
Click on "Customer Service" under "Contact Us" on the right hand side of the page.
Select the item from the list that you would like a refund for and place a check next to it. Click on "Email" under "Contact Us".
Select "Refund Inquiry" from the drop down menu, write email and send.

They may have fixed this--when I ordered the $39.99 Lost S3 Blu-Ray Gold Box deal, it rung up as $39.99 and not $57.99 - $18 promo. So no double-dip on discounts for that in the future.

Although, I haven't looked at the personalized deals in a while--those may still ring up with the gold box promo. However for most DVDs, it's usually only like an extra $1.

Got my refund for the last B1G1 (Hot Fuzz and Fearless) and picked up two SD replacements with Out of Sight and The Thing... making this essentially a B1G3 deal.

I'm looking all over Amazon's site, but I don't see how to submit a price adjustment claim. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks...

Top right of the page is "Help", click that. Then click Contact Us/Customer Service on the right hand side of the page. Then find the applicable order, check the items, click Contact Us/Email. Select returns/refunds, explain that you want a refund on the reduced price, and click send.
