Shopping Engine for multiple DVDs

My aunt just got a DVD player and there are about a dozen DVDs I'd like to get her. Are there any shopping engines that allow you to input several different titles and will give you a price at each store on the total number of items? Prices on the few I have checked so far vary wildly and no one store seems to have all the titles at their lowest prices.

Thanks for any advice.

I use dvdpricesearch on a regular basis. It's great when I'm looking for one title. What I want is a shopping engine that will tell me the combined price of "Saving Private Ryan," "Shakespeare in Love," "Breakfast at Tiffany's, and "Message in a Bottle" at each individual store/venue. It would save me from having to go to Amazon, BestBuy, Buy.com, DeepDiscount, DVDEmpire, etc etc and filling my shopping cart at each place.

Nightflyer, dvdpricesearch is actually REALLY good at exactly what you want. Are you using the Compare Chart?

Add all the titles to the compare cart, then click the little chart icon in the top-right corner. It will show you what each store's total will be for all of the titles you selected.

You can also refine what the chart displays by selecting:
  • Stores to always display on the chart
  • Stores to never display on the chart
  • the state you live in(for sales tax)
  • Coupons/discounts you have for each store(via the MY COUPONS link at the top)

Yeah, DVD Price Search -- just go under the search options.

i do wish you had some sort of search engine that would allow you to check ALL vendors web sites...like best buy, familyvideo, rightstuf.com (for anime), and just customize everything..that would be amazing...ESPECIALLY if they had software where you could do that and keep track of rising and falling prices of dvds on each vendor's web site.

Brian, thank you so much. I've used Dvdpricesearch for years and never paid attention to their shopping cart. I assumed it was to purchase from a storefront they owned. Duh! Thanks for the heads up. Now if I can find a similar function when shopping for multiple book titles.
