Here is my fairly current anime/animation related collection @ DVD Aficionado. It's not really that big of anime collection. Most of the anime titles were purchased within the last two years. It probably covers 2/3 of my DVD collection.

I got in my 2 ADV orders today. Both of my Gantz art boxes were tore up (I presume this happened when they belonged to Best Buy, since 6.99 BB stickers were on both of them). My other art boxes were fine.
My Peacemaker v. 5 disc was loose in case, and scratched badly.

One weird thing of note. The art cover to my v. 5 of Rune Soldier was different from the rest. I borrowed my friend's copy of Rune Soldier back in the day and his was the normal one. Mine looks nothing like the rest of the art. Hmmm.

That is too bad. Things like still happen even it's packaged well. Be sure to contact customer service either via email or phone to get those replaced.

I believe all the Rune Soldier vol has reversible covers. The other cover you saw might be inside.

Anybody know if the FYE $10 off sale works on "sale" items? I grabbed Ultimate Hellsing 2 and 3 ($29.99 retail each) and Ragnarok ($29.99 retail, on sale for $22.99). The system didn't give me any discount, so I told them about the sign they had on the anime section. The cashier had to manually take $10 off the items, but she wouldn't do it for Ragnarok. I got the number for corporate, but they're close right now. If it should work, I'll go back and try to get my $10.

The $10 off promotion technically doesn't apply to on "sale" items. The cashier may even say that you can't double stack promotions. And like you said, price override will be required when the cashier rung up your purchase for something like this.

I don't know why, but when going through BuyRiteDVD's checkout process, the NieA_7 box set dropped from $28.99 to $20 flat. Glitch maybe?

After completing the order, I was also offered the opportunity for a $100 coupon with BRDVD if I filled out one of those BizRate surveys. I figured it was worth a shot, but you know how those things are... There's probably some sort of catch. I'll let you know when/if I get the coupon.

wtf...how do you get best buy stickers on yours? O_o does TRSI get a lot of BB's unneeded stock of ADV stuff?

and my packages (all 10 of them) are waiting for me in the mail room but i need a car to pick em up at the moment (which is WAYYYY on the other side of campus...) joy...didn't know purchasing anime and dvds could be so much exercise!

10 packages? Holy crap. I don't know, but I'd say about 1/3-1/2 of the DVDs in my order had Best Buy stickers on them.

Got my 25 for a $100 order at noon was surprised think its the fastest I've gotten something from them usually takes to Thursday when something is shipped on Friday night.
3 of mine had Best Buy stickers covered with blue foil Rightstuf stickers.
Spent all day yesterday transferring Geneon and some other series from the Scavano cases to the 60 M-Lock cases I got from Rightstuf had to make another order cause I ran short.

Also was wondering is DVDPacific the cheapest price on Le Chevalier D'Eon 4-6?

i was actually sad...cuz my record is 14 at one time...the post office here at my college loves me and hates me lol. the majority of those packages was from the geneon abundance sale from over the summer (made MANY orders and extremely happy i did!)

Got my second order of 25 from the TRSI ADV abundance sale, with no issues at all, however....I find it odd that my first order shipped the same day, BUT I got the second order (odd thing is, the UPS tracking number I got for the 1st order....isn't showing up at all on the UPS site).

*shrug* Probably show up tomorrow.

ye my post office processing center likes to keep a bunch of my packages in holding it seems like...cuz i only got 75% of my packages yesterday...and they all shipped on the same day...kind of annoying...
