The TV show "Extras", and he's referring to the gift set of the complete series.

Amazon makes it seem like it's just the two seasons and the series finale in a special box. http://www.amazon.com/Extras-Complet.../dp/B000YI99IW

And apparently HBO won't be releasing the finale separately, meaning those who already own the first two seasons are screwed. So instead of allowing me to spend $15 on the finale DVD, they're pushing me to download it illegally for free. Good work HBO!

I wish I hadn't already sold my seasons 1 and 2 because I thought the finale was dreadful. Be forewarned.

FWIW I disagree. I thought the finale was very strong. I don't know if you've seen "The Office" finale but it had a similar formula to it. It's not drop-dead funny the entire time because it keeps some semblance of realism, which creates a depressing middle-section of the finale but the beginning and end are so good that the arc of emotions really fit for me. Anyone familiar with Gervais’ previous finale on “The Office” are in for a similar experience here. Plus, the Clive Owen scene is worth watching the whole finale anyway Absolutely priceless!!!

I agree with sumdeus... I thought the finale was fantastic. Great story, funny, well acted and the most important part... it had a point!!! Gervais and Merchant delivered another fantastic finale to another fantastic show!!! (I think the original "The Office" is one of the best shows of ALL-TIME).

P.S. And Clive Owen does indeed steal the show... one of the best celebrity appearances on the show ever (with Daniel Radcliffe being the best!)

Hell, I stole the whole series because I didn't want to wait on the US airings. I figured a complete set was coming so thankfully I waited to buy the DVDs.

I don't think anyone actually answered the "best price" question, so I'll give it a shot. It is $31.86 + tax with FREE 2-day shipping at B&N.com, using one of their many 25% off coupons in the B&N thread (or $27.61 for B&N members). I don't think there is a better price... Amazon and BB are both 34.99

Complain here , like I did and like I'm encouraging everyone who enjoyed the series and bought the first two seasons. This is just despicable behavior on the part of HBO. I'm kind of stunned this kind of thing is still happening - have the studio execs not learned anything?

I own seasons 1 & 2 already... but season 1 is Region 2 because I bought it when it was released over in England (about 6-8 months before it aired on tv here). So I dont really mind paying the money for the special and a region 1 release of Season 1.
