I get that, but it still doesn't make sense to pack it into DVDs that were just released. Who's going to double dip that soon after a SD purchase?

No, but I did use it in conjunction with the Best Buy buy 3 Blu-Rays and get 20 off. I picked up Superbad, High School Musical 2 and Spider-Man 3 for the 20 dollars each. Took them to the register and handed her the 5 dollar coupon towards High School Musical and she put it in by hand. Then I handed her the 20 dollars off the purchase of three and she also input that by hand. I ended up getting all three of them for 40.08 tax included.

if you're using the coupon at BB, I recommend making copies if you want to use it more than once because when I presented it to BB, the cashier couldn't scan the code so she just took $5 off (with manager overide) she then just tore the coupon up and threw it away (groan) so I could have just made copies and reused it had i known

Both my work and home internet security won't let me install this "coupon printer". Anyone care to host an image file of the resulting coupon so that I can get in on this???

If you can't get it to work they will mail you a copy. They shipped it pretty quick. I got one in the mail today.

As far as I could tell. Thought that the gal at BB was going to give me some grief because of the printed out one, but she didnt say a peep and just applied the discounts. It was a smooth transaction for me, YMMV.

Even more awe in that I was buying the Bluray and never thought I'd be able to get one of those for $5 .

Shock and AWE

Both my local Best Buys were sold out of Blu-Ray AWE as of Wednesday. One Circuit City was sold out. The other Circuit City had 2 copies, and would not even let me use one coupon. He said I could either price match it with Best Buy's ad or use a coupon, but not both. I was already running late so I had no time to investigate what their policy was or argue with him. Obviously now I see that policy is only supposed to be for Circuit City specific coupons, but it's written so poorly in their FAQ that you could read it either way you want to. Finally I found one copy of AWE left at Wal-Mart, not on the rack, but in the middle of a random pile of discs sitting by the register. I handed her the $10 upgrade coupon which she scanned immediately. Then I handed her the $5 one, which she stared at for a while, and then said it cannot be used in combination with any offer. I settled at that point. So overall there was a little less AWE and a lot more shock for me.

Just an FYI, but my BB seemed to be sold out when I first got there and there were none in the Blu section. However, they're were plenty in a box display by the new releases. I also couldnt find Casino Royale, but there was one copy left in the Blu display. Sadly, sometimes you have to hunt .

Although as comparatively cheap as AWE is right now I can see how they would sell out (especially with those $10 off coupons floating around).

Cheers.

I had no problem using one for Ratatoullie at my local Best Buy last night. As I have 6 networked computers at my house, I was able to print out six coupons...

My BB would not accept the coupon. Said that since it wasn't in the system, they couldn't take it.
