that's just so.... 1998.

not being able to do a thumbnail preview correctly makes a site look very amateur
they should have them all in lightbox format where the cover pops open big in a floaty flash box and can be close easily, with back cover incl

it really surprises me that a organization like DeepDiscount would put out a revised website where the zoom feature doesn't really work. I think they know about it but don't seem to do anything about. Many times I would like to have the image blown up to read more information from the DVD cover but really can't and it's annoying. It's really stupid of them to have it as it currently is.

I wonder who the dumb ass at DeepDiscount was responsible for the redesign of their website. It is so annoying to navigate. One of reasons, I prefer to shop at amazon.

Warning about Sony and Widescreen.

When they take a double-sided Wide/Fool disc and "update" it to a single-sided Foolscreen disc, they DO NOT CHANGE THE UPC. In many cases, they do not necessarily change the packaging (they pack foolscreen only discs in boxes that say wide/fool) because they (apparently) have extra stock of the packaging and rather than worry about pesky things like truth in advertising, they want to use up the packaging they have.

So, in summary.
You can not count on the UPC.
You can not count on the packaging.

Getting Alice in Wonderland (1985), this is a great find, been looking for it a while ago, didn't know it was on dvd. It was a mini series, and I remember it being really wacky, and at times scary and really sad. I'm also going for the Passenger and the Prisoner.

How can you go wrong with Ann Jillian and Carol Channing as the Red and White Queens? I remember enjoying this also....

I remember driving to 4 or 5 different Big Lots one week to try to find "At Last the 1948 Show" and "Do Not Adjust Your Set." All I ended up with was a needle on the dashboard somewhat closer to "E" than it had been.

If ever there was a bargain that was a case of YMMV, this is it.

Agreed. The Big Lots in my area are complete garbage that are barely maintained and are this close to catching fire. The only thing worthwhile is their furniture section that has a lot of meddling stuff for a few bucks more than Art Van. It's not really worth it to go in that place with the hope of getting anything other than a Mill Creek 5 disc set for an outrageously high price. The Wal-Mart a few hundred feet of it has cheesier movies and a cleaner atmosphere for a better price.

Also, a lot of my Cheap Sony order mailed out today as well. Apparently they're not as out of stock as they thought. Still, I got some good deals: both XXX films in SE, Batman Serial, etc.

He follows his own advice of 'wear black, and wear layers.'

Presuming it is the same as Volume 1, that was 4 keep cases inside of the outer box. That was years ago that I purchased that so perhaps they changed the packaging somewhere along the way.
