Bought Stardust and The Simpsons Movie (with the $5 coupon from that thread) at Target this afternoon. Thanks Marvin Dorfler!

Thanks for the tip!

Worked fine for me at Target. Probably could have gotten it cheaper at another store, but I thought I'd save time since I was picking up the 'I Love Lucy' set while they still had it on sale. The cashier had to scan it 3 times before it went through. For some reason the register kept voiding the coupon. He still charged me tax for the full 19.99 total.

I wasn't about to try this at my local Wal-Mart - they are way too picky about what they will accept. One unpleasant woman still holds the newer dollar bills up to the florescent lighting to check for the watermark EVERY time I happen to use one in her lane. If anyone is having trouble, I'd advise testing this coupon on a teenage cashier if one is around. It's been my experience that most of them better understand the 'online coupon' concept and are less likely to give you a hassle or outright refuse it.

Tried to use it at the Best Buy in Little Rock, AR, but neither the cashier nor the manager would take it. Said I needed to show them an "original" coupon, and said they couldn't even read the print on the coupon. I'll have to try it at a Target or Walmart.

Thank you for posting this! Used it today at the Best Buy in Southfield. Cashier looked at it and manually took it off. Didn't even scan it.

Ditto on the thanks. The cashier had to call a manager over to key in an authorization code, but he didn't even look at the coupon. $10.70 with tax!

Was able to pick it up at Best Buy. I did have a couple of problems. First they rang it up for $19.99 instead of this week's sale price of $14.99. Second they couldn't scan the coupon. He did get an override, so I did get it for $9.99. There you go.

Thanks. Got it at the one across from Parmatown Mall.

For Best Buy, if you look closely at your receipt, I think they take off $5 AFTER the tax. Therefore it ain't exactly $9.99 plus tax, it is 14.99 plus tax - $5. This always seems to be the case for BestBuy when one has a unscannable manufacturer coupon. Nevertheless, I think it is still a good deal for this week.

Used it at Best buy yesterday, no problem. Manager took one look at it and took the $5 off manually. Just told them it was from the movie's website.

Does anyone have a scan of this coupon? It might just be these awful excuses for computers I have at work but I am not able to get the coupon to appear. Thanks!

Here's another suggestion (Windows XP with IE): Try opening up Acrobat Reader before clicking on the coupon link on the site. (It gave me an error message if Acrobat wasn't open.)

Oh! I'm supposed to click the link? I just thought if I stared at it long enough it would just print the coupon on its own.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Neither of these computers have XP, they both only have IE, and I figured out the left one doesn't even have acrobat but the left one is hooked up to the printer.

I love my job... I'll just print these out at home.

It's a terrific blind buy, but I also think because it never found a huge audience that it will be a $5 DVD in about 6 months. I'm just going to wait.

It was a GREAT movie! I did a blind buy as well, totally worth it..and I am sorry it didn't find a bigger audience in theaters.
