Target "Spidey 3" 3-disc DVD for $17.99

I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I saw today that the "Spider-man 3" 3-disc DVD is $17.99 until 12/31 (according to the retail tag by the DVD). The single disc DVD is $15.99.

Nice find. Might be a YMMV situation.

seen it at several targets here in so. cal. bought it, returned it with my old receipt. $5 savings from release week price. nice.

now hopefully the harry potter exclusive will go on sale in a couple of weeks... gotta love target's 90-day return policy.

Will they do that? It is my understanding that Target will not do any type of "price matching", not even to their own website prices, or prices at other Target stores. I tried to find their policy regarding prices in store, but, no luck. If they will do the adjustment, then I'm in for it. I just can't find any information that states they will.

I'm pretty sure my wife bought me this for Christmas. So I'll leave it up to her if she wants to try for an adjustment.

target doesn't price match, but just buy the DVD again and return it on the old receipt. usually you have thirty days, but i think it's been extended to 90 for the holidays.

The price adjustment must vary from store to store. My wife took the receipt for the one she bought on Black Friday (an Xmas gift for me) to Customer Service to get a price adjustment and they told her they wouldn't do it. She was then going to go buy it and return it from the other receipt, but they didn't have any more copies.

I saw the $17.99 price tag in front of an empty slot for it.

Thanks for the heads up. I verified I still had the original receipt and this afternoon I'll be headed to the store hoping they still have some in stock. Will be doing my own "price adjustment" if I'm able to score a second copy at the lower price. Why a place like Target can't adjust the price without the hassle I don't know, but it's lame.

No, it's not 90 days for price adjustment, it's 90 days for returns at Target. They will definitely not give you an adjustment on a item that was full price the day you bought it and then went to 75% off red sticker clearance price the next day. But if you see something like that, all you have to do is buy the item at the lower price, then take it back with the older receipt showing the higher price and get a refund for the higher price you paid that way. I do this all the time at Target and their standard 90 Day return policy with no questions asked makes it easy. They even put the date that the receipt "expires" right on the top so you don't have to guess (or add).

I actually bought the 3 disc DVD today with both the $3 off Papa John's coupon and the $1 off Nutella coupon. $13.99 plus tax! Sweet!

Was the 3rd disk a bonus disk? I looked at my Target today and they didn't have any Spiderman 3 in any format . . . where in the display did you find this at?

Uh - at Papa Johns?

Here's a post someone did a while ago. Supposedly it worked. I used a coupon I got from Papa John's Pizza a month or so ago.
