LOL!! However, you do have to admit that SD releases often get nice exclusives that we don't get with the high def. releases. I'm sure that there are people on here who would have paid 34.99 for their copy of 300 with the Spartan helmet on either Blu-Ray or HD. But none of us were given that option.

I understand where you're coming from, but that time will come soon enough. Right now, SDVDs are still the main thing. The current "incentives" for going Hi-Def are getting like 10 free movies for buying a player, which is not bad at all.

I see Panic Room listed under the 2-disc special editions, but I thought it was only in a single disc Superbit and a 3-disc edition. Is there another version or is this the 3-disc on sale? If so, great deal.

The spine of Panic Room says Special Edition.

dunno what's on the disc, but there were so many bonus discs for PotC2 last year that my local store had them available months after the initial release. could just order the movie now from amazon and wait to pick one up for free or .01 from best buy later on.

Getting POTC3 (and the bonus disk) as I've already pre-ordered it for my nephew for xmas.

And I'll be getting Robocop for myself in case I don't get it for xmas, so I'll just be sitting on it for a few weeks.

Thanks for the prices

Robocop for me!

Was waiting on the Blu-Ray but with no special features, this buy is a no brainer.

I see that Black Hawk Down is listed under the two disc special edition as well. To my knowledge, there is no 2 disc edition of this movie but a 3 disc deluxe edition exist. Is this the 3 disc deluxe edition with the third disc being the disc with the documentary from the History Channel?

Oh crap. that 8.99 thing is gonna kill me.

PS: "Robin Hood"--> Errol Flynn or Kevin Costner?

Probably freakin' Costner again. Sigh.

Razor and Superbad and maybe a few of those 2-disc special editions for me.

I'm really hating December.

Glad to see that Superbad BR is somewhat reasonable even though the MSRP is ridiculous.

I'll get It's a Wonderful life if it's the new release. Plus Ghandi and Robociop are good deals...any word if Dr. Strangelove is the latest release?

LOTR Trilogy is the 2 disc versions.

Only the spine of Black Hawk Down is shown, but it's thick so I guess it's the 3 disc set.

It's a Wonderful Life is the new version.

Robin Hood spine is all white and it looks like it says Prince of Thieves.
