Picked up some smallville seasons for my wife's christmas present(s) .
Also snagged from earth to the moon . I almost ordered these from bestbuy but they wanted around $11 in shipping

Have the friends' seasons sets been 55% off for awhile, or is that a sale?

I don't think its a sale. Target has or had them for $14.xx and Costco has them for $15.99.

This isn't part of the "official" Amazon Black Friday sale, but Boston Legal Seasons 1-3 bundle for $59.99. Otherwise pay $45.xx or so average a season

I noticed that they also matched Circuit City's Price on the Gilmore Girl's sets. Seasons 1-6 for $14.99 each. Circuit City only had that price for seasons 1-4.

Bought 2 copies of the Alien Box sets. They'll make good gifts down the road.

My gf is making out cheap for this Xmas. I asked for Lives of Others, and just pointed it out to her on here for $10.

I have 3 of the 4 Alien movies (missing Aliens), all 2-disc sets....but this quadrilogy has all the 2-disc movies and and a 9th disc? Don't know how I can pass this up. Now to find something to put me over the free shipping threshold!

Picked up King Kong, 40 Year Old Virgin and Office Season 2. I did have those on my BF shopping lists, but since Amazon matches nearly all of the pricing on them, this saves me from sales tax and from having to hunt these titles down.

I couldn't find anything I really wanted...so, I bought 2 of the Alien sets. At this price, it'll be easy to sell off or to give as a gift and be a hero at Christmas time!
