Thanks! I was looking for the word 2-disc and couldn't find it.

Got a question:

On Best Buy's site, they have 2 different LFODH titles listed. One is the steelbook and the other is the "Collector's Edition". Only reason I bring this up is the SRP on the steelbook is $29.99 while the CE is $34.99. I want the best version (ie UR and the most features), but looking at the covers, the steelbook doesn't say Unrated...

STEELBOOK:

COLLECTOR'S EDITION:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....p=1&id=1756019

And here's the cover to the steelbook which does not say "Unrated" on it...

Nice catch, TheMovieman.
I was set on getting the steelbook, but I as well want the unrated version and the most features. The Collector's Edition appears to say: "First Time Ever. Bonus Digital Copy of Film Included On Disc. Simple, Fast, and Portable for Your Laptop or PC."

So I guess you can save the "Digital Copy" from the disc on your hard drive?
Looks like that's the only difference between the CE & the Unrated 2-disc version, though it's hard to tell. Target is advertising something similar, though they call it the Deluxe Edition (w/ movie cash and 2 hours of footage)

It's all wrapped up in microsoft's digital restriction management. Far easier to just rip the movie directly and skip the entire "digital copy" crappola.

Personally, I don't give a crap about the digital copy, just that I get the unrated 2-disc version... Guess it's best to see for myself on Tuesday since I was going to buy it there anyway.

So that means the Die Hard Steelbooks aren't 2-discers (aside from LFoDH)?

I am 99% certain that the steelbook will have the unrated cut.

I finally scored a copy of A Scanner Darkly for $4.99 - price tag was listed at 19.99 but it rang up right. I used my first reward zone cert and just added some mints to get over the $5 threshhold. Pretty good considering that I didn't pay a dime for the membership. So .43 cents out the door with some mints to boot.

My Philip K Dick collection is coming along nicely. Too bad the books are harder to come by.

Agreed. But on the Target version it says full theatrical movie, so maybe you get the PG-13 version as the digital copy and the Unrated for the DVD? heh, you never know.

You're probably right, but from the picture & product information, there's no way of knowing for sure yet. The cover looks exactly the same just with missing text.

My Local BB had the $4.99 terminator 3 tag by the HD-DVDs, so I was able to score a copy for five bucks!

I guess this is a huge YMMV, but it worked out for me. i was going to go back and buy more, but the manager removed the sign after adjusting my price.

Is that what is says? I couldn't tell. I assumed it would just be the same as the CE. Thanks

I have some giftcards for best buy, and want to buy a few seasons of curb. I see that they are 14.99 at circuit city, what do i need to do to price match? Do i have to bring the circuit city ad in?

This finally convinced me. I WILL be buying the 56" DLP Samsung (HLT5676s) and the XBox Pro System for $1499.98. Most likely tomorrow.

I've been watching prices online for a while and this is the TV I want. The cheapest I've seen it is at Amazon for $1499. Since I want the XBox anyway, getting it for free will make up for the $100 tax I pay at BestBuy.

Does anyone know if the Die Hard 4 steel book will have the "Hitman" free ticket?

Yes, bring in the ad. There is a slight chance that you might get a Best Buy that won't want to price match because it's only a 4-day sale due to the new Black Friday ad that will come out on Thursday.

I stopped at BB earlier today, and they had a large amount of $4.99 discs; much more than listed in the ads. I picked up the True Romance 2-disc director's cut. Here's the entire list: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....at121700050019
