Was looking up something on About.com and saw a banner ad for DD that had the code DEAL (if anyone needs another code.)

I'm not too keen on DVD quality as long as the set arrives in pristine condition.
Actually I was looking at the UPC on Deep Discount's site and comparing it to what was listed on DVD Spot. It shows it's the set with the busts.

How bad is the video quality? Is it so bad as to be distracting when you're trying to watch, or do you have to really look to notice? I'm not expecting a ton from 70 year old movies anyway, but if it's really bad I don't want to waste my money on this set.

DeepDiscount Dave,

Can you confirm if the set is the one with the busts or not?

Just came out-- and actually, it's a buck cheaper at DVD Planet, but I didn't have anything else to order from them, so it would have been more with shipping.

Same here. Seems like a long time, especially since I ordered within hours of the sale starting.

Not sure if they'll do it but they won't let 20% coupon work on the revised price. Plus, you'll need to place the order for those titles on phone and quote Incident-ID# which they would be tracking for your price-match request. Basically, the revised price would be known and to-be-used by you only.

This is what happened for Dr. Strangelove in my case during past week.

Nice...
My last couple experiences with them were lousy, and it appears to me, they haven't improved!
My (smallish) Thursday night order is still sitting in the "Processing" state!
No sense in paying for expedited shipping.... it ain't like the old days!
DD seems to have tossed customer service when they merged the storefronts.

DD,

Any chance of KILLER OF SHEEP becoming available this Tuesday? It's not showing up for preorders.

I placed a large order on Friday and it's been in the processing stage since then. I never received a confirmation e-mail either, though I got one for the two small orders I placed this morning. Is this something I should be concerned about? It's never taken this long before.

Anybody been keeping a running total of the which are the most popular titles/a tally of what people are getting? Always interesting to know and helps quite a bit when making up your own list.

With the exception of the original Dracula, all of the transfers are excellent. You won't be disappointed.
