Ratatouille: Deal Consolidation

For all Copies:
  • There is a $10 Mail in Rebate inside for if you purchase BOTH the Standard DVD and the Blu-Ray. You will need both UPCs and the receipt for the Blu-Ray.
  • If you buy Ratatouille and the Pixar Shorts, and register them here then you can get this pin set pictured below for free ($3.50 Shipping and Handling). Registering Ratatouille in this manner also enters you in this contest.

Target - $15.99 with an exclusive Bonus DVD "Features never before seen footage including behind the scenes character profiles and more." The disc is in a paper sleeve, packaged inside the plastic wrapping of the DVD case, all inside the slipcover.

Circuit City - $14.99 with Free chef's hat and apron. Also save $5 if you buy Ratatouille and one of the following Pixar movies OR Pixar Shorts and one of the following movies (but not Pixar shorts AND Ratatouille):

Cars ($14.99)
The Incredibles
Finding Nemo
Toy Story

- Thanks to Mr. Briggs for clarifying this deal. -

Best Buy - $14.99, and "Save $5 instantly on this Ratatouille Character Cast Gift Pack." (Comes out to $4.99). Also comes with Enchanted Movie Cash (Good for up to $7) - thanks bang4dabuc

Best Buy Update

If you reserve Pirates of the Caribbean 3, you get $5 off any Disney DVD. The only thing is that you have to put $5 down on PotC. But, you can get a refund on the reservation, and still receive $5 off the DVD you bought.

So for example:
Buy Ratatouille and Pirates 3. ($14.99-$5) + $5 = $14.99.
Return Pirates Down Payment ..........................-$5
Total: ...........................................................$9.99

Thanks to NiceGuyJoey for this idea.

Amazon.com : $10 off when you buy Ratatouille Blu-Ray and Cars Blu-Ray. Comes out to $37.90 with both (and if you have the 10% off HDs you know what else to do). Thanks to Sweet Baby James for mentioning this deal.

Disney Store - Four Lithographs with pre-purchase - thanks Sabrett

K-Mart - Free Mason Jar Style Bank - thanks Premise

Wal Mart - Family Cookbook and DVD related to it (not sure if it's both or not, can someone confirm?)
- thanks droidguy, whotony and Rogue

Futureshop (Canada only) - exclusive Steelbook - thanks xage

Toys R Us - Free Children's Cookbook with purchase -thanks Mrlumpy

Horrible deals for this release. I also thought I would see something for Cars and nothing. Guess I will stick with my Amazon order.

Disney Store - four lithographs with pre-purchase. So, I guess you'd have to get it by Tuesday.

I have a question about pre-ordering. I pre-ordered Ratatouille at Best Buy a few weeks back to get the $5 off on another Disney movie. I wasn't charged for the pre-order though. Is this the way that pre-ordering works? Or was I supposed to pay $5 as a deposit on the movie right then?

You were supposed to pay the $5 then. But there was a problem with the Ratatouille pre-orders in that they didn't register the deposits properly so they all rang up for $0.00, while still offering the $5 discount on the Disney movies.

Thanks for the response - excellent! I still plan on getting the movie, but now I think I'll pre-order POTC 3 and get it for $9.99.

Hmmm. I did the preorder and it definitely charged me the $5 preorder price as well as taking the $5 off Jungle Book. Looking at the receipt right now.

In my experience with it, the default was to ring up $0.00, but some cashiers knew what to do right off the bat. I too paid the $5, but only after a manual key-in on the cashier's part.

I thought that Best Buy was offering Movie Cash for Enchanted, with the purchase of Ratatouille?

I'm really disappointed that Best Buy doesn't have a deal to get a certain dollar amount off with the purchase of both Ratatouille and Pixar Shorts Collection, Volume 1. I'm going to go ahead and buy it there, to get the double points on my Reward Zone card. Although, I'm tempted to go with Target.

^ i heard somewhere that ratatouille will have a coupon inside for $ off of pixar shorts. anyone heard of this also? or maybe received the dvd early and can confirm?

and yea, best buy will have movie cash for enchanted. the wording on the ad is weird tho, but i believe you get the cash purchasing either dvd/blu-ray or either version of the game for gaming consoles.

Do any of these deals work online? I can't find them listed at any of the websites. Else I might just have to stop buy eBay, I'm really tempted by the deal with the litographs.

I asked this in another thread, but perhaps it's better in here. I've never done movie cash before. How much is it? $10? I wasn't intending to purchase Ratatouille, but if the Enchanted coupon (which I know for sure I'll be seeing) makes the DVD essentially $5, I'd just go ahead and blind buy it.

The free ticket will cover either any ticket or at least a child's ticket at about up to $7.50...which you can use toward an adult ticket

I believe there is a mistake in your CC pricing. You say that if you buy Pixar Shorts & Ratatouille on the same receipt you save $5 (I wish that were the deal). It actually says if you buy EITHER Pixar Shorts (@ $19.99) or Ratatouille (@ $14.99) you save $5 on one of three older Pixar titles. I would prefer it were the way you have it listed as that would bring Pixar down to $14.99 when bought with Ratatouille @ $14.99 but it doesn't sound like that's the deal.

I am fairly confident Wal-Mart had a bonus disc advertised on one of their door-alarm sleeves.

I thought it was a cookbook AND a bonus disc. Perhaps the bonus disc directly relates to the cookbook, but I still thought it was both.

Oh, and not that anyone is going to buy it without looking at it but I glanced at one of our Character Packs at BB in the warehouse today. It looks pretty cheaply painted.

Yeah, I think there was an ad in EW for it. It was a cooking DVD.

With REAL people. From the Food Network.

Toys R Us includes this cookbook for free. I think the DVD is $15.99 (their ad shows Finding Nemo for $15.99, no price listed for Ratatouille).

http://toysrus.shoplocal.com/toysrus...ToysRus-071104

Amazon sells the book for just under $10. I think this may win for me, since my kids love to cook.
