Nadia is one the best anime's ever made. All the japanese know that.
This show made GAINAX famous before evangelion.
Director - Hideaki Anno
Nemo's final design looks remarkably like Captain Bruno J. Global (from The Super Dimension Fortress Macross), even down to his uniform being almost identical to Global's. This is most likely intended as a tribute; Hideaki Anno's first job in the industry was as an animator for that series. - Wikipedia

But I assume this is the problem with other companies as well, that they think nobody is going to buy "old style" anime, or anime that's not geared specifically for a certain market.
In any event it would be really nice to see complete, affordable sets of hard to find titles like Dunbine, and other companies could pick up OOP titles and bring them back in complete sets as well.

Problem is these companies only promote the new stuff, and people in america have no respect for the great classics out there like Nadia, Dunbine, and others.
They only like new fancy CG stuff, whatever is on Cartoon Network or whatever some media publication tells them what's Hot.

Why did Nadia go OOS at Buy.com? Because as soon as it became available for sale today for the GCO $10 discount people jumped on it (I'm sure our discussion of the title helped too). Mine is still stuck in the "Sent to Warehouse" phase which makes me a little nervous they're OOS (especially since my order was among one of the first ones to be placed before I posted).

All this talk of Nadia, make me want to watch the series from my backlog. If I didn't have the old boxsets w/soundtracks I would have bought this tin collection.
