Best price for Pixar Short Films?

Hi all! I noticed from one of the ads in here that Pixar is releasing their short films on Nov. 6. Anyone know who will have it on sale---and possible prices? TIA!

We'll have better info when the ad data comes in. But for now, Best Buy's online listing has it as "on sale" at $19.99, so that might be the price we see it at come November 6. However, Ratatouille is listed at $15.99, so it seems strange that they're at different prices...all will be revealed soon though.

I'd assume most stores will have it, as I work at a Blockbuster and we got two copies of it. The terrible Blockbuster price is 21.99. There is a special offer sticker on the front about buying it and Ratatouille (don't remember specifics). Anyways, my point was that in we're getting it, it should be pretty widely available.

intersting, is this going to be only the shorts that have played in front of the pixar ones, or will there be original ones as well?

It includes:

a.) Pixar shorts from before they made films.

b.) The original shorts that played before the films in theaters.

c.) The shorts that were released on DVDs as supplements to certain movies (Mike's New Car, Jack Jack Attack etc)

Exception to this is that the short film relating to Ratatouille will be released with said film and not here.

There aren't any original shorts, however there are new commentaries and a documentary.

Not so strange. One is a blockbuster that will have millions of copies pressed, the other is fan service that probably be lucky to get 50% of the pressing of Ratatouille.

Just a guess.

I wouldn't be surprised if the best price is 19.99. I have a theory that new Disney films or any new animated films on DVD that aren't popular (or are predicted to not make a lot of sales) are always sold at full price.

Speedy is back...just in time to post Ratatouille prices for next week!

I'm hoping somebody will have a tie in where if you buy Ratatouille & Pixar Shorts on the same ticket you'll get a discount of $3-$5. Otherwise I agree that no one probably will sell it for under $19.99.
