I had W. C. Fields vol. 2 in my cart and noticed price went down to 28.49.
WC fields vol 1 and marx bros and Preston Sturges sets also available. List any others available...

$28.49 is a great price on the Preston Sturges set when you consider "Sullivan's Travels" and "The Lady Eve" Criterions are $35.99 each. The 7 movies in that set work out to $4.08 each.
The Marx Brothers set was also dropped from it's previous sale price - it went from $31 to $28.

The Hitchcock Masterpiece collection at $57.99 is a really good price. Assuming another 20% off sale in the future, this would be $67.91 at DD -- so the Amazon price beats that by a whopping $10.
I already own 9 of these 14 titles individually, but I'm very tempted to buy the box set and sell my individual titles to recoup most of the cost. I'm running out of shelf space, and the real estate savings from the box set might be enough to compensate for the 4 or 5 films in the collection that I don't care for as much as the ones I already own.

The Cecil B. DeMille Collection is also $28.49, but I noted Amazon Marketplace sellers offering it for ridiculously low prices ($13.97 seems to be popular) - unless, of course, that's the Koch box that arrives on the mat...

I never did get around to picking up the Hitchcock Masterpieice Collection as I still own the initial Volumes 1 and 2. Let me be sure though - the two sets have the same exact extras correct? There is really no reason not to "upgrade" my set is there?

Already have four of the titles in the Hitchcock set, but for that price I'll bite. Bit leery of the double-sided discs for the Dietrich set, but $13.99 for five films is a steal. Thanks OP. Also, anyone who doesen't own the Sturges set, I strongly suggest you pick it up. No one wrote better comedic dialogue then Preston Sturges.

Damn, I just went through my collection and it seems I have six of the 'cock titles already. It'll be a chore to sell them off for less than 10 bucks a piece to make up for some of the cost of the set.

Thank goodness - I scored the Hitchcock Masterpiece collection for that price! I sold my individual releases last year for money (broke). Now I'm on my feet and getting the remastered versions (according to reviews) for about the same price I sold the originals for! Amazing. I chose free shipping...and always get the goods within a week from Amazon.
