I pre-ordered mine at Suncoast and when I went in, the clerk told me they only had enough for the people who pre-ordered. No extras would be put on the shelves.

He had the Steelbooks in a box behind the counter, hidden away.

Got my Autobot one this morning when they opened. They had a few extra Decepticon ones on the shelf, but the rest were behind the counter.

My Steelbook did have a loose disc, but luckly no scratches at all. I did notice something odd though. There was a small piece of dirt in the Steelbook when I opened it. It was in the lower left corner and it was brown. So it was dirt, and not just some dust. I just brushed it off and went on about my day, but I'm wondering about it now.

What the heck was it and should I be concerned about it? Seriously I'm a little OCD about things and this is bothering me. Its probably just some dirt or something from when they packaged them, but how in the world did it happen? I thought the DVD plants were supposed to be pretty clean, etc...

I picked up one of each at a suncoast in oklahoma city this afternoon. I will ebay them in a couple weeks. I did not preorder and they had several in the cardboard display.

My local Suncoast had about 12 of the Decepticon Steelbooks, and I grabbed the last Autobot steelbook.

I got the last Decepticon at my store. All of the Autobots were preordered, which I stupidly did not do...

picked up both my autobot and decepticon steelbooks today. gotta say, they're awesome. way cooler than i expected them to be based on the pictures. i thought they'd have a more matted feel like the fox r1 steelbooks, but was pleasantly surprised to see the glossy, embossed cover.

my store had only enough to cover pre-orders, held behind the counter for people picking up. no extras to be found, but this was at around 5ish after work. they might've had some available in the morning.

My store (Beachwood Place) received a double order of Autobots, and no Decepticons. Made my decison any easy one! They had at least 6 left after I grabbed mine.

Picked up both.

The site "Ezydvd.com.au" has the steelbook with the Autobots on the front and the Decepticons on the back.

and i rechecked the futureshop ones, and i was wrong, they are 2-disc... the only prob. with futureshop is u cant orfer them to the U.S. cause they're in Canada...

nice! i'd guess the futureshop ones, and the transworld ones are the same and were probably made in the same place.

r u sure it is a "Steelbook" and not a "Tin"? there is a difference, a big difference...

**edit** yeah, that is a tin and not a steelbook. not nearly as nice or cool as the steelies.

it says its a steelbook in the description for the autobot on front, decepticon on back version. Is steelbook a brandname, what makes you say its not a steelbook

looks like they have BOTH. tin AND steelbook. AND the transforming case. lucky. they get all the exclusives from one store. easy shopping for aussies.

a steelbook with logos on both sides seems odd to me though. i feel like the back SHOULD be empty or with info and not another cover-type pic. so while it would've been cheaper to get that steelbook, i'm happy with my two individual transworld steelbooks.

i tried to pre-order and they said they didn't have any left, but i called on Tues and they had them in.

got my self the autobot one. the decepticon logo looked a like it was elongated too much where it should have been more of a square (if that makes sense)

I went yesterday (friday) into my local FYE and luckily they had one autobot one left. they had about 6 deception ones...

well, i had to cave and get both. i have no idea why either, i didn't like the movie all that much, but it is one of the better looking steelies.
