WB: Best of HD-DVD and Blu-Ray (4 Disc Sets): $54 @ Costco

I saw at Costco today, three volumes of WBs 'Best of HD-DVD' and 'Best of Blu-Ray' sets.

Each volume has four films; the volumes are identical to each format.

$54 for 4 films is a steal, IMO ($13.50 each).

The title breakdown was:

Vol. 1:
Lethal Weapon
Swordfish
Training Day
Road Warrior

Vol. 2:
Last Samurai
Unforgiven
Phantom of Opera
Fugitive

Vol. 3:
Superman
Departed
Goodfellas
Blazing Saddles

Also, a quick check on Amazon shows they're $59 there, and two additional sets are coming at least in HD-DVD in Nov.

Action:
Troy Directors Cut
Alexander Final Cut
Blood Diamond
Wyatt Earp

Family:
Happy Feet
Scooby Doo
Ant Bully
Corpse Bride

Perhaps I'll go grab Vol 3 tomorrow. I own all four on standard dvd, but at that 13.50 each it is indeed a pretty good deal.

I think that he is talking about the 25% off coupon for the warnerbros.com store, not Costco. That coupon expired on Sunday.

Anyone who hasn't followed the Warner Bros Store thread be aware that they are currently having shipping problems with long delays.
