I've sent out the DVDs to everyone. I have one or two more if anyone wants one.

I actually miscalculated the postage ($2.31 with paypal) and paypal fees ($.60), so I'll now have to charge $8.14 to break even.

Back on topic, these displays have disappeared from my two closest WMs. I may drive back to Burke and check for more WTC 3 discers if there is a demand from you all.

I called around to several of the PA and MD area Walmarts. Some still had the display but no 3 disc WTC or 2 disc MI3. Others said the display was up this morning but had been taken down because the promotion was over. I found the 2 disc MI3 on Amazon for $7.73 so I ordered it from there, but I have pretty much given up on the 3 disc WTC.

Anyone seen a widescreen Paycheck anywhere?

At the Ypsi, MI Wal-Mart. Quite a few, as a matter of fact.

And The Gambler in widescreen.

Zbu 10-20-07 07:34 PM

Oh, the Wal-Mart near me had a few Paychecks in widescreen. If anybody wants, throw me a line and I'll see what I can do.

Send Trevor (a few posts up from here) a private message, he had some left. He sent me a copy in a very timely manner.

Our WM ditched the 398's for the Halloween bin.

Mine just moved the entire display on the back wall with the televisions, but an aisle or 2 over....I don't think it could be on the sales floor and in a less visible spot.

Oh, the seasonal display.
Darn. I thought they'd put out a cardboard dump of stuff, since more weird and unusual stuff tends to show up in those (and cheap, at that!)

No, he was answering my question about the halloween bin

Moleman1138 10-22-07 04:43 PM

No they're ranging from 7.50 CASPER to 13.72 FRANKENSTEIN

398 is gone here completely.

Zbu 10-22-07 06:49 PM

Same here. That bus has come and gone in this region.

Imail724 10-22-07 07:32 PM

Still 3.98 display at my Walmart. It's the Commack store in Long Island, New York.

That'sAllFolks 10-25-07 07:38 PM

I talked to someone at WM that actually seemed to know what's going on ...

There will be some more 3.98/3.99 DVD promotionals coming soon ....

(she didn't have any details)

cheapdvdho 10-25-07 07:43 PM

Tons of 3.98 titles were dumped into the $5 bin at my Wallyworld.

That would be a good move on Wal-Mart's part, those DVD promotions motivate me into the store much more than anything else they offer. :hungry:
