Also, mine did not have a chapter insert/ booklet; did anyone get one (even if purchased at another store)?
Is there any indication of whether or not the Blades Of Glory DVD includes the bonus disc since it is inside the case?

yes, look for a GREEN round sticker that says "EXCLUSIVE BONUS DISC". about half of the inventory at my store didn't have this, so be careful. also, when you pick out a copy -- SHAKE IT to make sure it has something that sounds like an envelope shifting inside. the first copy i pulled had the sticker but felt way too light to have two discs, so i grabbed another and sure enough, the second copy felt like it had the bonus disc inside.

one final observation -- none of the copies at my BB had a cardboard slipcover. Target's inventory DID have the slipcover, however. haven't been to other BBs or CCs to confirm.

i did not pick this up today, but took a looksie. it seems there are copies with and without a bonus dvd sticker on the outside. so from common sense and past experience, im guessing no sticker = no bonus disc.

someone who got the Blades of Glory Best buy bonus disc... did the disc come inside in a separate white paper sleeve or cardboard sleeve or was it in its own middle black plastic tray?

It was a paper sleeve. There was also no slipcover for these.

Does anyone have a link to view your qualifying Summer of Entertainment purchases? You know, the little chart that shows how much you purchased? I can find the area where you can print certs, but I can't find that chart anymore. I want to see if I qualified to get a 3rd $10 certificate...

Just curious, did anyone find a Blu-Ray Blades of Glory? I know it was recalled, but I still find it hard to believe that none slipped out...

Also, did the bonus disc come with the HD-DVD version? I bought the SD version with bonus disc, but I'd rather have HD if it has the disc as well...

We have a thread devoted to the possible BoG blu-ray. Nothing 100% confirmed yet.

And the bonus disc is SD only, not in any of the HDs I saw at 3 different BBs. But the content may be on the normal HD disc, as it appears to have more special features.

Just wanted to say thanks for the detailed response.

Any chance the coupon will work on the $15 TV shows? I have had it work on sale prices once in the past....

It is not supposed to, as the coupon says "regularly priced".

But YMMV. I've had them work in the past.

That's my question, too. I'm very suspicious of Best Buy at the moment - removing any ability to link to the SoE promotion immediately after it is over is very, very strange. It does not instill any confidence in me as a consumer. I should have had enough for a voucher by the end of the promotion, but if they don't provide a way to view what your status was, how can I ever find out? I'm hoping they're going to email us when vouchers are available to print. (And what's with that? Why is there any delay at all? Shouldn't information that is collected electronically make the vouchers available pretty much the moment the transaction is complete? I can understand a day or two delay, but longer than that makes me paranoid that they are purposely holding onto the vouchers. Can you tell I don't trust Best Buy?!)

It might have something to do with the fact that you might return the items. The regular RewardsZone points take 30 days before they are accumulated for the 250points/$5 certificate because they make sure you don't just buy things to get the points and then return them. I think the accumulation time for the SoE promotion is shorter than 30 days but I'm not too sure how much shorter.

Exactly. I'd wait 30 days before I complained. Just save your receipts so you have a record of what you spent on qualifying items.

I picked up both Ultimate Avengers movies and Iron Man. But, I just noticed the reviews for the Ultimate Avegners are pretty bad. Are they even worth a watch, or would I be better off returning them for the TMNT sets?

Sweet, thanks for these. I got coupons in the mail, but they don't start until tomorrow. I'd rather use it today! Well, I would have gone yesterday if I had seen this then...

Thanks, I'll have to find a comparison of those features. I won't open my SD BoG for now... I have a list of the HD features. Can anyone post exactly what content is on the bonus disc? TIA!

I was passing Best Buy, so I went in to get my $3 back for buying the animated Iron Man DVD 29 days ago for $6.99. I was looking for a copy of it to take to the customer service desk so they could confirm it was now $3.99 this week. Once there, remembered I was going to get all the seasons of Kung Fu for $14.99 each and got the second and third, but season one was not in stock. Once, I got home, I had to pay $17.70 to get the 1st season delivered, so I was kind of bummed, but then I opened my Best Buy bag and saw that the girl had put the Iron Man DVD that I brought up to the register as reference into my bag but not charged me for it. Maybe she thought I brought in the one that I had already! I suppose the honest thing to do would be to return it, but I didn't want to make a trip out there just to get $3.20 back, so I don't think I will bother returning this $3.99 disk.
