Mine was fine. Just a couple of minor, minor dents on the tin & the book instead had some corner wear (to be expected being stored in a rounded tin).
This is a great set! I'm so happy I picked it up now.

received an email stating that the shipping date had been pushed back a week or so. Works for me since I;ll be out of town next weekend when the original shipping date was schedlued for.
Just hope they don't push it back again

I got mine in yesterday. The outside box was perfect. On the inside, the DVD books had dented corners (not to bad) and the Manga book looks like it had an ice pick stabbed a quarted of an inch into it. Also, the cell that I got had the scene where he said "My home is gone." What did everyone else get?

I got it from FYE a few months ago for ~$34 delivered--it's an awesome set and my favorite movie ever. I'm going to get the $300 set one day because it's amazing. Anyone thinking about getting this set should get it. It's well worth it.

I received mine today in near mint shape which is satisfactory with me as I never plan on selling it. There was a very small dent on the front of the tin - small enough that most people probably wouldn't have noticed it. The interior cardboards had minor edge frays but I suppose that is to be expected. Fortunately the DVDs themselves are in mint shape. Thanks to the OP!

Previously got an email from Amazon informing me of the delay. Earlier today I got an email reminding me of the delay and asking me to login and verify that I still want the order. The email stated that if I didn't do so, the order would be canceled.
I logged-in to the order to find that they were preparing it for shipping. And I just got shipping notice a few moments ago.
So for those who got the notice of delay, you will hopefully still be getting yours.

Just got my 2nd shipment, since my first was sent to me absolutely destroyed. I'm happy to report that this shipment was in better shape. A little worn(the shrinkwrap), but nothing major.
