5 disc Blu-Ray set for $25.15 shipped? Sold. I ordered mine. Don't need a briefcase. Must be a hell of a case though to add $60 to the MSRP.

Why question the price? This is what it should be....so that DVD can be history and everyone can move onto HD. Even with the regular DVD set...HD discs are several dollars more vs. the regular DVD 2 Disc Special Edition.
Just order it and cancel in December if you're not happy with the price. |

Nice! I just cancelled my order for the regular Ultimate Collector's Edition on Amazon, and ordered both the Ultimate Collector's Edition for HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. Why both? Because I'm not sure which version I should stick with quite yet, and I'm afraid they might sell out before I can decide. :brickwl2:
I have an HD-DVD (thanks to the Xbox 360) and now a Blu-Ray Player (just recently picked up a PS3) so either are a viable choice for me. I'm thinking of going with Blu-Ray, as there's more companies exclusive to them, but I'm not sure. :hairpull: One more thing. Is my pre-order at Amazon pretty much guaranteed? I was thinking of ordering from Warner Bros. official website, but truthfully, shipping is cheaper on Amazon, even though I'll likely have to wait a bit longer to receive it. This is my first LE pre-order on Amazon, and I wanted to know if any of you were screwed out of an order once through them. |
Never mind, Warner Bros. won't even ship the collection to Canada, so it looks like I'm sticking with Amazon anyway. ^_^

I do a lot of preorders on Amazon and have never had a problem. I also ordered the Ultimate Edition (Blu-Ray) - being 4 months from release there shouldn't be any problem getting this (plus you still have 4 months to cancel if you find a better deal). I noticed that if you used the free shipping option it pushed the shipping date back a whole week so I opted to pay the extra few dollars for regular shipping. I've chosen free/standard shipping thru Warner and gotten titles a day or two ahead of street date each time. :) |
Yeah, I opted to pay a bit extra for shipping through Amazon (around $10) just so I can have it relatively faster. I'm ordering this through amazon.com and NOT amazon.ca, mainly because I've had issues with amazon.ca in the past (they always seem to be late in shipping their releases out), and I wanted to take as much precautions as I could to guarantee me this title. ^_^
BTW, that's great to hear. I won't worry about it. I'm thinking of going with the Blu-Ray release, and cancelling the HD-DVD version. As another poster in this thread so eloquently put it, Blu-Ray will at least win the HD war, or both will survive. In both cases, Blu-Ray is the version to get! ^_^ |
Peep,
Do you have a PS3? |

It's still showing up as $27.95 for me... This 10% discount is only for those people ordered the player from Amazon last year correct? And only those people get the discount automatically correct? |
