In the 7/22 Sunday Walgreens newspaper circular there is a store coupon for $4 off any title over $9.99. Limit 6 titles per coupon.

I said thanks if you missed that. It's really not much of a bargain, I went to Walgreens and looked. I don't think Walgreens is known for their vast collection of dvds. There is a few good titles such as 'Mad Max' and 'Mystic River'. It's my opinion that they're crappy anyway. Someone might think that they are great deals, so if you don't like my opinion I'm not sure what to tell you. Also, I wrote it's a crappy deal on "most", not all.

You could use the coupon at some other stores like(Fred Meyer's,Wal-Mart,Shopko,Best Buy).

What are you talking about? Walgreens coupons won't work at any retailer of your choosing.

Just to clarify...it is not a store sale on their dvd's. It is a clippable coupon needed to receive $4 off.

No big deal to me. I've really enjoyed the forums over the years and have found some great deals. I saw this as an opportunity to participate if even in a small way.

No coupon, just didn't want to start a new thread to say I've found at least two good video deals at Walgreens - this week found "Providence" a 4 disc collection of that show's greatest hits (Haven't seen this show since it originally aired) for $7.99

And several months back found "Shanghai Surprise" deluxe edition for $5

I got Season sets (2 discs each) of all the Mr. Show seasons today for $3.99 each.

Yes. I just stumbled on them by accident. They had a table at the front of the store with some of the titles that have been selling at Big Lots for $3, plus some other direct-to-video movies I never heard of, all priced at $3.99. I thought these would probably turn up at BigLots eventually, but "a bird in the hand..."

SUPER bargain. Man, I love that show!!! If I find them, I'll buy another set for a Christmas gift...

Stopped by my Walgreens on the way to work and the dvd section is now gone! Two weeks back it had an entire end cap full. Is this a temporary think to make way for Christmas merch?
