picked up My Super Ex, Jewel of the Nile, and Romancing the Stone at BB earlier today (along with some anime). Was surprised the 10% off coupon I had applied to them (used it mainly for the $15 anime I got).

Interesting deals going on at Best Buy. My local store had the Limited Edition 3 disc version of Ghost in the Shell: Standalone complex- Solid State Society for $12.99. The regular 1 disc version was right next to it for $14.99!?! The limited edition is an absolute steal at that price plus it comes in a very sharp steelbook case.

Also DC animated stuff was on sale. It was mentioned earlier in this thread but you can get Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, and the most recent The Batman series. The sets vary from 13 episodes to long seasons of 20+ episodes. Short seasons were $14.99 and 20+ episode seasons were $19.99. All in all some nice deals.

Big Thanks to the OP for keeping us informed!!!

This morning Best Buy had the prices for the 2 versions of Ghost In The Shell: Solid State Society all screwed up. There were a bunch of single disc editions on the shelf (above the LE sign none the less) that were stickered for 39.98 (the LE's retail price), but there were no LE's on the shelf. I walked over to the employee computer station and low and behold an employee and a BB rep or manager were discussing a price mishap. The employee had 3 or 4 LE's on the desk. I asked to have one and she peeled off the price sticker before I got a chance to see what it said. She told me it was 14.99. I guess the computer network didn't catch on as fast as the store's manager did though, it still rang up for 12.99 at the cash register.

Seems like they have it all fixed on the web site now (29.99 for the LE and 12.99 for the single disc) and probably in the stores as well. I have no idea where the 14.99 the employee mentioned came from (thin air I guess).

This was a great flick. Some of the back story was lost on me as it has been some time since I watched the second season of the TV show. The soundtrack CD is great too, went straight to my iPod.

French Connection for 6.99??? Holy crap, I'm there! I'll probably pick up Revenge of the Sith while I'm at it, I almost grabbed it for 9.99 a few weeks ago from CC but I guess I'm glad I waited.

I knew I was forgetting something on my trip there today

Picked up Equilibrium and Rounders (SE). I was hoping to find Robin Hood Men in Tights, but I couldn't find any copies.

Looks like I'll be going back to BB tomorrow for The French Connection.

Glad to see someone mentioned Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile. These were both $6.99 at my store, so that's only $14 for the two. Really beats DD's $22.11 regular price, and even beats it during their 20% sale! Great deal on these two movies if you're looking for them.
