They probably just throw them in the dump bend. They most likely still ring up cheap.

This was the same Warners/New Line Father's Day display I had reported seeing at Walmart in an earlier post on June 6:

""Wild Bunch 2-Disc Director's Cut SE $4.88 At Walmart B&M""

http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=502749

Additional titles I had seen:

The Wild Bunch (2-Disc SE)
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
A Time To Kill
Sleepers
U.S. Marshals
Romeo Must Die
15 Minutes
Good Night And Good Luck
Green Street Hooligans
Moonlight Sword & Fade Lion/Bloody Fist
Over The Top
Evel Knievel
Terminator 3

RE: "Syriana." The only copies I've seen in this display were Fullscreen.

Is Sleepers still a flipper? If it is they need to fix that.

Wow, it makes me a little sad to see Good Night and Good Luck in there so soon. I realize there are some great movies in the dump bin, but it usually takes a while for them to get there. I guess it hasn't sold too well.

Shouldn't make you sad - hopefully this price at Wal-Mart will get more people to buy it and check it out.

Hmm, the new $4.88 display in the Portland WM didn't seem to have the titles mentioned. I picked up:

The Greatest Show on Earth
Dragonslayer
Tucker, the Man and His Dream
Bang the Drum Slowly (R.I.P. Mark Harris, who died recently, author of the book and others in the Henry Wiggen series, the best baseball fiction ever written, IMHO)

There were others, too, such as The Replacements, Galaxy Quest, and more.

Saw the Green Street Hooligans last night. Starts to fall apart a bit in the third act but I still found it a enjoyable flick. Too bad the DVD doesn't have a commentary.

No dice on a widescreen Syriana at my location, either. Saw pretty much everything else, though.

Thanks to the op. I picked up Green Street Hooligans. I've been waiting for that to be on sale, so I couldn't pass it up for $4.88.

Perhaps I'm ignorant if there's been different releases of Terminator 3, but I glanced at the display a short time ago and couldn't pass up the 2-disc version of T-3 at that price.

It's possible I was only drawn to it since I purchased T-2 with the DDD sale and felt the need to further my Terminator fix.
