If it's within 30 days, they should.

I just found this on their website:

If within 30 days from the date of our offer, you show us a lower, currently advertised price from another local store with the same item in stock, we will gladly refund 110% of the difference between our price and theirs.

so looks like its no. I think the only way I can get around this is to repurchase Halo 2 with the free Shadowrun and then return that new copy of Halo 2 with my old receipt

Should be the 2-disc for that price. Msrp is $9.99, or $7.99 on sale on Amazon.

And you can do that too.

In my experience I have had your situation occur just once or twice and the managers at my CC have been pretty cool.

I haven't been there much of late (and they might not be so cool because of that) due to product shortages and muck ups (like the recent Silver Surfer disc mini-fiasco) but if they ever ebound, I'll give them a try.

Also, you could call and ask but the second methodology you list above will definitely work too.

Speedy,

Is the buy 2 get $10 off, 3 get $15 promotion for all next gen DVDs or blu-ray only? Also, do the HD DVD players mention at all the $100 toshiba instant rebate? It seems weird that they would jack up the prices from one week to the next.

I don't yet know but since slim is becoming all the rage, I would expect that type of case.

1. The offer is on the Blu-Ray DVD page (#9) and as such it should be for Blu-Ray DVDs. The question that comes to my mind is: Is this offer good on all Blu-Ray DVDs or just the ones pictured?

2. Page #8 has the HD-DVDs / players on it and there is no mention of the $100 price break. The only deal mentioned is the 5 free HD-DVDs and taht they 'll give you a $50 gift card with the purchase of either player.

Just got back from CC and they had them in a wooden box, which was about 60% filled.

They had one copy of Once Upon a Time in the West, about 5 copies of Van Wilder, about 6 copies of Universal Soldier and 2 copies of Win a Date with Tad Hamilton (FF Only) and about 8 copies each of the rest.

I picked up Once Upon a Time in the West, Universal Soldier: SE and Van Wilder: Unrated Van Gone Wilder Edition 2 disc set.

When I went up to the cashier they said that the Van Wilder wasn't on sale and it's only for the Special Edition pictured in the ad. So I mentioned to her that is all they had in the sale box, she went up to the manager in customer service and got the ok to sell it at that price. She said that they are going to pull the rest of the Van Wilder: Unrated's from the box.

So I got about $11 knocked off of that one

I didnt even want to risk any potential hassle so I just bought the game over and then returned it a half hour later with the old receipt. The cashier said soemthing about returns on games only being good for 14 days (I bought it 16 days ago) but she was cool and did it anyway since it was closed (new copy)

Slow-paced is fine with me. I picked it up today for $3.99.

Decided to blind buy Once Upon a Time in the West based on the good word around here. I figure for 4 bucks I can't go wrong.

Nah, the SE doesn't come out until July 24th. This happens every so often where a store misuses the coverart for the actual dvd on sale.
