I have a question. I'm planning a $400+ order but 2 items are not in stock. I also want the $16 overnight delivery. Will they wait until they are in stock or will they ship everything else and later ship the last 2 things (and will it also be overnight?)? Also, how reliable is their inventory system. The last thing I want is for something to be in stock when I buy it and to get an e-mail saying it isn't.

They will ship the items that are in stock right away and then ship the other items once they are in stock. I think the shipping rate you choose is applied to all shipments if they are split up.

I thought they give expedited shipping on whats in stock then send the rest by standard shipping. Thats what they used to do.

In the past if you would place one large order they would expedite shipping for free and provide a tracking number. But it was never clear how much one would have to spend to get that. It ranged between 250 to 1000 dollars. There were also reports that if you would place large multiple orders they would combine them themselves in order to save time and money.

For those with kids, the new release Prehistoric Park, the complete series, is $10.97 after the discount. This is a darn good price for what I have read is an excellent series.

Although last year they never provided me with a tracking number and UPS left my box down the street. Luckily the neighbor was kind enough to bring it over the next day. I had only chosen the FREE shipping. Ordered totaled around $278.

I figure if you paid for the expedited overnight shipping, they would use that for the in-stock items but I don't see them using it for the 2 remaining things when they do come back. Think about it, that could be, at most, another 2 shipments overnight. They'd probably do the standard FREE route, IMO.
