Re: Coupons for DVD Planet/Digital Eyes Thread II

I'm beginning to get frustated that i've not been able to access DVDPlanet site for past 1 month or so.

Anyone has any clue what may be the issue.

As I said above (and in the thread in the Store forum), you might be able to get around it by using a proxy. I'm using AnchorFree's HotSpot Shield, and with that, I can shop at DVDPlanet just fine.

Finally today I got through.

Ultrasurf 9.5 did it for me. Sorry, I am not allowed to post URLs to other sites (just put Ultrasurf 9.5 on Google).

It looks like people who live outside of the USA are the ones having the access issues.

DVDTalkers from Asia (maybe Japan? since they said they were using the NTT network, India and Canada are the ones that cannot access DVD Planet.

Are there any DVDTalkers who live in the USA that cannot access DVD Planet????

I'm in the great state of Washington and can't get to it on IE or Firefox (on 2 different computers with 2 different ISPs).

I'm in Virginia and can't access it from my work computer, but I can from home (and it's not being blocked at work or anything). Since proxies seem to fix the issue, there must be some routing issues from certain IP sectors.

Still not working for me neither. Obviously they don't care about all these missed sales from people that can't access their site.

I have zero problem accessing DVDPlanet from my PC or from my Macbook which I'm on now. In fact, I just used their Quote Machine & packed up another shipment for $108 in store credit. I just wish I knew for sure if they are going to have a sale or not.

Same here no problems accessing DVDPlanet. I also just sent out another shipment for $108 credit. They took the last of some dvd box sets that their site
did not lists about 6-8 months ago. I also hope they have this sale soon. I should have about $555 in credit when the box arrives.

Re: Coupons for DVD Planet/Digital Eyes Thread II

Aren't there any coupon codes for July? I tried the usual variations (e.g., JULY05 and JUL05) and nothing worked. Are they planning a sale like Deep Discounts 25% off later this month?

Lets see, they have done the sale every single time DeepDiscount does it. I wonder what they could be planning this time?!

I can't get in from work but can from home. My work doesn't filter any content or sites that I have ever heard of in 5 years, but maybe DVDPlanet is somehow coming up as a dangerous page on the work proxy.

Re: Coupons for DVD Planet/Digital Eyes Thread II

Just got an email today announcing my updated Frequent Buyer Point total that reflects titles bought during the sale. Looks like they are still trying.
