Dvdplanet CS or Mark,
I'd like to sell my old X-files sets. They're the orignal thicker packaging and only the slim packs are listed in the Quote Machine. Are you buying the old versions?
Thanks.

Well here it is 1500 CDT and when I try to sell the half-dozen titles that didn't show up yesterday, only three make it to the checkout page. They must have a web commerce intern working on QM.

to allow a seller of used adultdvds to add to the inventory. They said they are working on it, in FEBRUARY. However, the mainstream DVDs can be added...

I haven't read to much of this thread so far, but I'm curious as to how this quote machine thing works. There's no info at all that I can find about how the shipping process works, how picky they are with scratches, original cases, inserts, etc. I was wondering if someone had detailed information on this.

What about the condition of the case? I have some that have stickers on from EB, Hollywood Video, etc. Do they need to be removed with some Goo Gone?
And also, if I have a DVD that is the same as theirs listed, but a different UPC, will they accept it? I'm wary of trying it out. For example, I have an Exorcism of Emily Rose from Hollywood Video that has a different UPC, but is the same version as the one shown on DVD Planet.

They don't accept rental discs if they have sticker on the ring of the disc but i'm not sure about the case itself. I would assume they should be stickerless.
The UPC codes need to match exactly or else they will ship it back to you.

There is a separate topic for the DVDPlanet quote machine
here.
There's some recent discussion there.
Back on topic, here are the coupons for May (according to one of their customer service reps -- I haven't tried any of them myself yet):
MAY52008 $5 off $60
MAY10 $10 off $120
MAY15 $15 off $175
here.

I emailed DVD Planet to ask them about mirroring the current sales, and I received this response:
"We are sorry, as of now we do not have any information of any
promotional offers (like Kino and MGM sales). However, we shall soon come out
with a new promotional offer on the same lines."

And while we're on the subject, what about returning those new Criterion prices to the 35% off range?

Yes, it would be nice if they sold used discs in time for the sale- speaking of which, seeing as DD is starting their 20% off sale on 6/6 I guess it's safe to assume DVDPlanet is started their's around the same date?

Just judging from the banner across the top of the website, "Sell us your DVDs" I assumed that they were planning on restarting their used disc sales. But they've had that up there for a while now...

It looks like DVDPlanet is undergoing some design changes. I was just surfing around their site and sometimes my page would change after signing into my account. Note the USED tab.
