I had one last order, my fourth, to place tonight. I'm a little surprised at this, as I just received the DD email saying the sale ends Saturday. I'll hazard a guess that it will be reinstated sometime today, or extended a day to pick up the last orders everyone's been holding.

Just talked to someone. She said there is a glitch in their system and the sale is still on. You can either place an order and then call with the code to get the discount or it should be fixed within a few hours.

The sale will end at midnight tomorrow (Sunday) night.

What was your order total and total fees?
I'm in Canada. Order #1 shipped by UPS but i got lucky and somehow had no fees (which never happens via UPS). Before placing order #2 and #3 i called deepdiscount and they put a note saying i prefer USPS although from what i understand if the order goes over a certain amount they ship it via UPS anyways...i just dont know what that amount is. I asked them to put a note to whoever to see if they can add an extra shipping option to Canada to ship vai UPS express...i understand deepdiscount would have to charge more but apparently if something is shipped express from the US there are no brokerage fees crossing the border

I've only been briefly scanning the threads. Has anyone done a tally of all orders or pointed out the items that are already by far the lowest price at DD? I don't want to miss any "must buys".

And before people start complaining about some of the problems during the sale and the perceived sluggishness about getting them fixed remember that the folks at DD don't have to do this sale. They DO get the problems fixed! Maybe not as fast as some would like or think could be done. Just get over it!

If you don't like the prices, don't buy anything.
We really don't care that you found it cheaper at xxx if we've already made the purchase. We may not have that store in our area, a membership, or transportation to said merchant. If it bothers you that much then start a "Items cheaper at other merchants than DD 20% Off" thread.
If the delivery times don't match what you want or need, buy it elsewhere.
If you are into instant gratification buy from a B&M and NOT the internet.
Don't wait until the last minute, select "overnight" shipping, and expect the merchant to drop everything to get your order out the door so you can have it tomorrow. Overnight shipping means the shipping company will get it to you the day after picking it up from the vendor, NOT that you'll get it tomorrow.

The current sale is running longer than any previous 20% off sale and the prices are still very good, in spite of all the naysayers. Some of my purchases were release day purchases that were already 20% or more lower than the next lowest price I could find and they were discounted ANOTHER 20% on top of that! I'm very pleased with my purchases, the cost of the items, and the delivery times!

I've just become a bit irritated with all the whiners this time 'round.
